You know, Atlantis might have been "New Olympia". ;) It would explain the island's disappearance.

Still, theres one thing thats got me thinking about the mutates. What if they have a similar problem that the clones had..or worse?

btw, was I the only one to notice that the color of the moon in "Awakening" is the same in the Hunter's Moon trilogy. Was that done on purpose?

Derek's legal status: I agree with Mooncat here.

I also think that the powers that be would feel very "motivated" to keep such a thing under wraps. Avoid general panic, keep such technologies out of other nations' hands, etc.

Lost Race: I think they're 'Lost' as in not found, rather than dead.
Their demise?: I don't think Greg would ever have thought up all the details about them he's not revealing, if they weren't going to be incorporated as more than just history.

Like Todd, I am also curious whether they're completely new or based on something/someone/some legend, etc..

Rac has a point as well, maybe they're lost be the Illuminati doesn't want us to know about them. It's all part of their grand scheme involving WW2, the Kennedy assassaination, the moon landing, the Iran-Contra affair, and that incident in the superbowl.

Atlantis: When did Greg say Atlantis was sunk? I don't recall seeeing that.

Nokkar's race: When was it established that they're called the N'kai? Missed that too.

I wonder if the lost race is really extinct. Written history has a funny way of being bias and missing info from true history. They could just be hiding or perhaps transcended beyond normal sentience (if there even different grades of sentience).

I doubt that Greg is going to tell us much about the Lost Race, if anything more (I wouldn't be too surprised if he regrets letting us know that it had even existed), but I'm a bit curious over whether it would have been a complete creation of his, or based on a "real" mythical species. (That, of course, would depend on when the Lost Race became extinct.)

DPH> Even if he answers the first one, it won't tell us anything (do we even know when the N'kai came about?). I bet the answer to the second one will be "I'm not telling", and the last one will be 'Brooklyn'. =P

MC> Copy/Pasting from the FAQ:

They all were created by the divine, the process of evolution, or both, depending on your point of view.

The Lost Race came first. They have since disappeared.

The gargoyles came second, and are considered the First Race. They didn't use magic. Going by evolution, the gargoyles descended from a species that is often classified along with dinosaurs, without necessarily being dinosaurs.

The humans came third, and are considered the Second Race. They did use magic.

The Children (of Mab, of Oberon) came fourth, and are considered the Third Race. They were created from magic.

I do have a couple of follow-up questions that I plan on asking about the Lost Race:

1)Which race evolved first: Nokkar's race or the Lost Race? - I see no way the answer to this question could cause any problems.

2)Did the Lost Race have anything to do with Altantis? - The year for destruction of Altantis has been revealed. Not answering when the Lost Race died could have something to do with Altantis's date being nearby.

3)Did any gargoyles, humans, or members of the 3rd race ever encounter the Lost Race? - This is a very indirect means of asking when the Lost Race died out.

My guess is the Lost Race is *involved/connected* with the development of the other 3 races on Earth and possibly other planets. This explains why info on the Lost Race is scarce.

Lost Race - or maybe they aren't on Earth anymore, or in a nonliving state? Perhaps they have genetic descendents among the other sentient races or animals of Earth (hybrids)because apparently Fay/Oberon's children could breed with other races and animals and produce fertile young.

re: Lost Race> My guess is that they are all extinct (people have referred to them as 'the extinct sentient race' multiple times in AG and he's never corrected them). The only thing Greg directly admitted to was that they aren't one of the three races "that are still hanging in", and he replied to the question about genetic descendants surviving to this day with "Don't overthink. But Yes". And when someone asked, "Are there other sentient races living on the Earth besides fay, halflings, humans and gargoyles?", Greg answered, "Well, Nokkar. And the New Olympians (though they're a spin-off race of the fae). Otherwise, no." So I guess those genetic descendants aren't sentient.

So, yeah. Extinct. Maybe from the same thing that killed the dino's. Or maybe they wped themselves out. I'm sure it's a story in itself, which is why Greg didn't want to give out any details.

Lost Race> lost doesn't neccesarily mean extinct. there could be millions of them still alive for all we know, "Lost" simply means they are no longer one of the major visable groups on Earth. maybe they all died or maybe they left Earth or maybe they are trapped somewhere or hiding. they are just not in the forefront anymore, and they once were. maybe their dissapearence had something to do with Atlantis, who knows?

Christine - Well, Derek isn't missing because his family knows where he is. As long as his family didn't file a missing persons report he should still have the same legal status as before his change, on paper at least. Taxes. As long as he receives no income he wouldn't have to file taxes. Even if he does have income (interest on savings, etc) as long as it's below a certain amount per year, Derek wouldn't have to file taxes. If Derek's income is enough that he would have to pay taxes, no doubt Elisa or Xanatos could see that Derek's paperwork is in order, even electronically filing for Derek on a yearly basis.

Xanatos and Owen seem the type to make sure the details of any project relating to Xanatos are nicely tied up. Which could include Derek, Maggie, and the other mutates if they have a paper trail. Derek probably has friends, but they could just assume Derek is too busy for them after he landed what apparently was a choice job as pilot and bodyguard for Mr. Xanatos.

I wonder about Derek Maza's legal status. Was he reported missing? Presumed dead? Did his previous co-workers just think that he'd gone to work for Xanatos and then vanished from sight? What about his taxes? Rent? Insurance policies? Using Maggie as an example, the rest of the mutates were likely taken off the street or had similar situations where it wouldn't be noticed when they dropped off the face of the earth, but what about Derek? Did none of his former friends notice? Did the family make excuses (and, given how upset they were, what kind of excuses)?

JJ - "As I suggested earlier, I think that many comic book-type stories overplay mutation. It is as if the writers think government agencies want to dissect anyone who has been severely mutilated in a "monstrous" kind of way. "

I don't think it's because it's a monstrous mutation, but because Derek represents a prototype of advanced scientific techniques to produce what is essentially a "super soldier" -- it isn't that Derek looks inhuman that makes him valuable to governments and the powerful, but that he is a living weapon, a living treasure ripe for exploitation for those willing to do whatever it takes to have control of the leading edge in biological weapons.

Keeping Talon in captivity can even be reasoned as being:

The changes in the mutates are much more than simply cosmetic, their very DNA is altered, and they carry the traits of large, potentially man eating predators.

For his own protection and that of the public safety. Talon and the mutates need to be studied in detail and kept in a constantly controlled habitat. With such severe physiological changes, it could be argued Talon and the other mutates might be a danger to the public because they could be mentally unstable, and because they are "armed" with potentially leathal traits of fangs, claws and lightening bolts.

Anyhoo, that's how the government could spin it, and it's more logical to consider the avarice of the powerful than their gentle mercies.

DPH<Does anyone have any theories about why Greg Weisman wouldn't reveal when the last member of the Lost Race died?>

Perhaps it's something he wanted to save for Timedancer or Gargoyles. Maybe they are a part of the back story for Castle Wyvern.

<I didn't think that question would trigger any response *unless* the last member of the Lost Race hadn't died. >

Then why would they be called the Lost Race if they aren't extinct? Or perhaps that member's soul is trapped in the monument under Wyvern Hill like Hakon and the Captain. I read somewhere that Greg said that the Captain and Hakon weren't the first ones trapped there.

Vivisection>
As I suggested earlier, I think that many comic book-type stories overplay mutation. It is as if the writers think government agencies want to dissect anyone who has been severely mutilated in a "monstrous" kind of way.

If Derek got help in the early stages of the transformation, I don't see how vivisection would come into play. However, I can see constant poking and proding from his doctors (I'm sure he will have doctors with his groundbraking condition!), including consultations with plastic surgeons. As long as Derek can prove his identity as a human to the authorities, for instance by maintaining a dialogue with a reputable physician, I think he will be treated as a multilated person, not as a monster.

The built-in electric "weapon" may be hard to explain, though!

And it may be a little tough convincing people now.

JJ Greg's Brooklyn question: Good question. thanks for posting the answer.

Derek, Elisa, and revenge: I think the fact that know one wants the government vivisecting Derek had alot to do with the not going to the cops thing.

Area 51 Doc 1:So, ya know I here this thing was human once. Scapel.
Area 51 Doc 2:Eeewww. Wierd.
Area 51 Doc 1: Yeah, from what I hear, this Severius' guy's practicly got his own Ilse of Dr. Moreau. Rib-Spreader.
Area 51 Doc 2:Anyway, the guys and I were gonna' go into town tonight, get some beer and shoot some pool. You wanna come?
Area 51 Doc 1:Sure. Cranial Saw.

And I get that Derek hasn't tried to do anything to Xanatos because he still believes he's best chance to ever become normal again. And that he knows enough of Xanatos' sercurity to know he wouldn't be able to pull it off.

Elisa is a play-it-by-the-book person. She wants to 'nail' Xanatos (justice), not just get revenge.

Goliath: I think part of Goliath's 'lack of force' stems from his experience leading the clan in 10th century Scotland. The enemies faced back then (vikings, etc.) were the kind had to be outlasted. If you drove away the vikings this campaigning season, more would come next campaigning season. Xanatos isn't like that, and Goliath hasn't adjusted.

Elisa - Um... almost forgot. Elisa was friends with the clan. Wether they were of a nearly extinct species or not had no bearing on her personal relationship with them as people. Her wanting to save and protect them stems out ofher being a good person who has found other good people she really likes, admires and respect. So, no it wasn't stupid for her to try and keep her friends safe, not to her at least.

Well, wether Talon owes Xanatos anything is really a matter of perspective. Xanatos gave Derek an exciting and extremely well paid job and a chance to leave a job Derek clearly had no affection for. Derek didn't agree to become a mutate, but really it wasn't the end of the world becomeing a gorgeous anthromorphic panther with wings, the power of flight, enhanced strength, speed, and everything, plus the power to generate electricity and throw bolts of the stuff. And, the whole deal landed Derek with a hot cat girl who as a human didn't look nearly as good as she did after she got the fur and wings. If Derek had been able to get over his mad on for no longer looking like an ordinary human, Xanatos would no doubt have kept him in style with loads of bennies. I'm just really surprised Fang and Claw decided to follow Derek instead of going to work for Xanatos.

Fang certainly LIKED his new form, and Claw didn't seem that put out. Goodness knows they'd have gotten their share of girls (or guys if they swing that way) attracted to anthros/furries (which there are are a huge number).

So Xanatos turned Derek into a winged Cat dude. It's not the worst thing a person can have happen to them, not by a long shot. Derek killing Xanatos wouldn't have helped anything, and would have made Derek open to charges of murder. Derek has had a while to acclimate to being a winged cat dude now, which also may have moderated his acts of aggression. He's not ordinarily a guy who beats people up or kills them because he doesn't like them or even if he is shafted by them. Derek's state of passion when he originally thought Goliath was the source of his change vs his mindset and passion when he found out Xanatos was really the one behind it all was very different.

Goliath and killing people. Hey, if he doesn't even bother to kill the viking raiders who are out to kill, rape and rob the castle he is supposed to be defending, you think he'll kill a guy who's biggest 'crime' against the clan so far is being a smug smart ass? Goliath was established early on as not being a killer, and not being inclined to kill except out of immediate grief/vengence if a loved one is severely hurt. It's part of his character, and what makes him who he is.

I don't think the writers had ever themselves felt truly vengeful. I have been in the position where I would have done anything to inconvenience someone, no matter the personal risk attached. Elisa is stupid to have considered the gargoyles' safety. They are just near extinct winged monsters after all. Certainly Talon did have a small risk of being carted off by "interested parties," but that would have happened anyway and even so, I would have chanced it - what did he have to lose?

I never quite felt comfortable with Goliath never attacking Xanatos with lethal intent. OK, I can just understand, though not agree with, the reasoning behind sparing him for the very first time in Awakening, but I think that from the Edge onwards, Goliath is simply being weak willed. And Talon owes Xanatos nothing, not even the dubious favour that he did the gargoyles in waking them up.

Here is my take on the Derek questions.

When Derek first transformed, he was still with Xanatos. Elisa could have reported the incident when she found out, but to what point? Derek thinks her Gargoyle friends are the reason for his condition, and Elisa has No Proof that Xanatos is up to no good. All she would do is out her brother as being a winged panther critter which could get him grabbed and dissected, and out her Gargoyle friends which considering this world's history of humans wiping out Gargoyles even when Gargoyles existing was common knowledge, would have been a singularly stupid thing for her to do besides totally breaking the trust of Goliath and his clan.

Why didn't Derek try to kill Xanatos? At first he didn't know Xanatos was the big bad. After he did find out, he probably didn't outright kill Xanatos because Derek is one of the Good Guys. Xanatos is a bad man, but he is a man Derek knows, and considered his friend for a good long while. It was easier for Derek to hate Goliath when he thought the gargoyles were the enemy. Gargoyles weren't human, and one was fooling around with his older sister. Derek had all kinds of issues. Not the least is that good guys don't usually kill their enemies. Derek could have gone to the police after learning the truth... as a giant panther with wings and risked getting his furry ass shot off. But even if his fellow officers accepted him as being Derek Maza (freak) there is no physical evidence that Xanatos was behind things. David is covered, because there is no proof he is behind Sevarius experimenting on humans. If it ever went to court, Xanatos has plausible deniability for criminal charges. Derek at most could get a civil suit and sue the pants off Xanatos for being the money man behind the research and as Derek's employer. But it wouldn't make Derek human again and it would put Derek and the other mutants directly on the public radar and possibly in a government sanctioned cage for "their own protection" if not outright carted off by interested parties with sinister designs.

Mooncat>> You did your best to jury-rig a feature that the old chat system sorely lacks. I second (third?) the notion that the next time Greg feels chatty, we should find a mechanism with logging capabilites. Heck, maybe we should get someone to massage the transcripts, and put the Q and As into the Ask Greg archives!

The Answer to My Question >> Am I the only one who saw Greg's answer? Mayhap I am hallucinating?

Reporting the abduction to the police >> The funny thing is, I think if Derek had kept his wits about him at first, I think *he* could have done just that when he got free. But that window of opportunity closed when he stopped looking like himself. It's hard to convince people that he's Derek Maza when he only looks like a panther.

This does remind me of a somewhat annoying aspect of TMNT. New York has seen people who have altered themselves to look like animals, and people who like to go around in costume, such as extreme Goths. I figure if the TMNT went topside for errends, the people who see them would write them off as highly costumed teens with issues.

Splinter, and to make this on-topic, the main characters of our favorite show, wouldn't necessarily have this luxury. When several body parts are distinctly non-human, it's hard to maintain the illusion.

But not necessarily impossible...think of "Eye of the Beholder." On that note, I have wondered why Brooklyn couldn't go to Goth concerts and pretend he was just in a cool costume. It worked on Halloween!

Does anyone know why Elisa didn't simply report her brother's transmogrification to her superiors straight away? It's what I would have done. Sure, it may have been a little embarassing, but he's going to be known as a freak some time. Better to have been known as a victim straight away, then all the antipathy goes to Xanatos. This way Xanatos would be busted and the law could FORCE Sevarius to do is genuine utmost to turn all four mutates back to their pure human selves.

I also noticed that Elisa was dead against her father reporting her brother's absense to the police in the Cage... Why???

At one point, when I was cut and pasting, I accidently hit Demona May's link to her page and lost precious seconds getting off her page and reloading the Chat Room and getting my info and the Gathering Page link replaced in the appropriate frame fields (Patrick had requested that the Gathering Site Link be put in the URL field) -- it was a mad scramble of a few moments but in the case of fast past chat with finite space for the text, even a few moments are critical.

I'm slightly confused about how Sevarius wouldn't know that Demona and Dominique Destine were one and the same. From what I saw in the Reckoning, it was pretty clear that Sevarius grew those clones in a building that looking remarkably similiar to Nighstone Unlimited building we see in Hunter's Moon. Unless Thailog never introduced Demona to Sevarius, I would have assumed Sevarius knew that Demona and Dominique Destine were one and the same.

Otherwise it'll just sit there with the message that you (the user) typed sitting at the top. (Atleast thats what you have to do in Mozilla.) I guess all the activity of people joining caused a major lag on my end of the net. ;) Ohh well, not a whole lot I can do about it now. :P

I guess since that I'm relatively new to this community, that I should introduce myself. My real name is Chris Coleman, and as you can tell from the header info of this post I live in Tennessee. I've been a fan of Gargoyles since the very first episode (was 13 at the time), and have watched every episode that aired on the local UPN station. (The biggest selling point for me was Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis voicing Xanatos and Demona respectively. At the time, I was a big Star Trek fan so needless to say this show had my undivided attention.) Unfortunately, at the time all I got to see was season one. Fast forward to 6 months ago. I was browsing the Direct TV on-screen guide and discovered this channel called "Toon Disney" late at night and spottet Gargoyles. My jaw just about hit the floor and I wanted to hoot and yell about one of my favorite shows being on the air again. I immediately changed the channel to TD and watchted the first two episodes all over again. Lets just say I was in hog heaven. ;) I even let out a good laugh when Lexington caught that grenade (in part 2 of the pilot), and tosses it behind him like it was nothing. By this time, I had been online for some time (since '97) but had never really thought to check for any sites on Gargoyles. However, fearful of spoilers for any possible continuation of the series, I waited until I had watched the show all the way through. Then only a couple of weeks ago, I saw a post on one of the forums that I frequent (bbs.stardestroyer.net) about a DVD release for Gargoyles that had a link to this site. That time, I did let out a big "Hell yeah!" and clicked the link. I lurked this site for a couple of weeks, browsing submissions and the like. Then I decided to post my very own set questions. I lurked a little more, and decided to check out the rest of the site. Lets just say that I was very suprised to find that there are other fans that like the series as much, or more, than I do. I'm going to cut a rather lengty post short and just say that I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. :)

First, have I welcomed Brooklyn XT? I've been lurking so much recently that I have forgotten. :-(

Re: the Brook-and-humans question

Mooncat, yup, that moment you lost to asking Lord Sloth to post was the critical moment for this question. It was then that I ascertained whether Greg hadn't missed my question (and made a comment about Celtic Christianity vis-a-vis my first question), and when Greg delivered his answer.

To summarize, in my second question I noted several instances in the early going when Brooklyn seemed perfectly calm and open when dealing with humans, almost as if he forgot the differences between humans and gargoyles. I asked whether Brooklyn had any experiences during his formative years that led him to be at home with humans.

To the best of my recollection, Greg suggested that this was probably so, but that Brooklyn's actions sprang more from his open personality, which hadn't yet been altered some by events.

In other words, Brooklyn had to learn to be suspicious of humans. Notibly, Greg made sure to qualify the statement with words such as "somewhat." Apparently Brooklyn still has some openness about him. He just needs a new, open-minded human with whom to show us his "true colors." And a new show!

If you accidently hit Reload manually, all it does is take you to the most recent screen and *blanks* the preferences you may have checked... so you sit there wondering why the screen isn't changing with new posts. :P heh... I noticed when there was a LOT of activity, and the room automatically refreshed, there was a several moments long hang time for it resolve to the most recent page. I'd get white screen for several seconds, but it would end in the latest screen. No crashes.

Ckyote and Cat, and others, your welcome. I'm sorry I didn't start cutting and pasting earlier. I wasn't sure if anyone else was making a copy but at the last moment decided it was better to be safe than sorry and started copying. In this, vertigo is correct, a normal IRC or other chat format would allow automatic logging. Next time we might ask people who can to start copying so we can piece together something more seamless and complete. Since each post is time dated, piecing together would be fairly easy.

Kay, back to getting stuff done *^_^* -- boy I want a nap badly... sigh.

DPH> hey, didn't mean to offend, sorry if i came across that way, the usual failings of cyberspace includes the difficulty of expressing tone. when i said that, i said it light heartedly, no offense or accusation was intended. the reason Greg was chatting last night was to answer our questions, so i don't care if you ask a question already in the queue, a question is a question, in fact, with the queue the size it is, its almost difficult to ask Greg a question that isn't in line!
so, anyway, my apologies, didn't mean anything negative by it, but i can see how it comes off that way.

did anyone ever figure out what (if anything) Greg said about that Brook-Humans question???

I doubt it since I checked with several other people and they couldn't get anything but the bottom frame to load. Didn't matter if Mozilla or *shudders* IE were used. This ticks me off too because I was really hoping to get some questions answered. Guess I'll have to wait till Greg can get to the ones I submitted a few weeks ago. ;)

Matt - <as i was scrolling through the queue i notived several people (notably DPH) were asking Greg questions in the chat last night that were already in the queue> That's unfair. I don't recall putting my 1st question in the queue. Did I put my 3rd question in the queue? Oh well. On my 3rd question, I thought there might have been something like Wolf was recruited as opposed to (insert name) because of x, but it was still great to learn the team was built around Fox. I know personality type was part of the criteria (making sure the pack as a whole would have certain tendacies), but I thought there might have been more that just that. My last question was trying to get some information to fill in some events on the timeline. I have a couple of strategies for getting more info on the lost race. Yes, there is a reason I asked for when things occurred relative to one another. Giving away dates may not be ok, but hopefully relating them to something else will pass.

And yes, I do have a list of questions for to ask Greg Weisman stored on my pc. Several of them are about things related to the timeline.

Well, at least I got to be there for the first half-hour of Greg's chat! I'll have to go read the rest when I have a spare minute. Good to see so many familiar names and new ones as well, I must say. It's going to be so good to get to Montreal and see people in person again!

Site update: new fanfic posted! It's called "Teeth," it was originally going to be in Avalon Mists but I'm tired of waiting. A stand-alone tale not necessarily part of my ongoing saga, in which an evil of the past reaches out for modern-day Manhattan. Other news includes a look at the cover of my new book (Silver Doorway #3: An Elf's Adventure, with cover art by our own CrzyDemona), the latest issue of Sabledrake Magazine, a chance to vote on one of my Literotica tales, and more! don't know if this is coincidence or not, but the last question asked in the queue (which happens to be mine) was asked 2-4-04, the last time the queue was shut down the last question was asked 2-3-03. anyway, just something that caught my eye... and as i was scrolling through the queue i notived several people (notably DPH) were asking Greg questions in the chat last night that were already in the queue... guess thats one way to get an answer quicker...

The room was going so fast, I missed brief half seconds but I believe I got ALL of Greg's answers, though a couple of the actual questions were lost as I was trying to keep track of queue, cut and paste at the same time. Sorry for the missing bits. Enjoy the rest.

Vertigo1 - It definitely lasted well over 2 hours, I'd say Greg spent about 20(?) minutes catching up with the last bit of people who clocked in to ask questions.

Rac - Yes, one revelation came out. Greg said that if 500 people attended a gathering, he would finally reveal what Titania whispered to Fox in the Gathering Part 2. I got one question of mine answered.

Todd - If you haven't cleared it yet, please delete my question in waiting line at Ask Greg that I asked tonight about King Arthur's legacy. The chat session got the answer I needed.

Out of curiosity, has anyone got any questions about the Lost Race answered?

Wow, that was a rather short chat.

Greg, if you want, I can easily set up a room on a friend's IRC server. The server has plenty of bandwith at its disposal so hopefully it won't die like this one did tonight. The script you're using apparently just can't take the load. If you're interested, e-mail me. I already have the room set up for you just in-case. I realize this isn't as intuitive as the chat page, but atleast it'll have more up-time. :) As of this post, its still down.

Think what Coma-Man is refering to is the survey you did a few months back. Greg - Sure, it would be an honor for me to moderate. This time we'll have the experience of the previous chat under our belts too *^_^* We can get an organized queue set up right from the start. I'll clear my Friday.

I spent today getting my house into order, and found a whole bunch of my Gargoyles video tapes. Made me think of the upcoming DVD release and I got a warm glowy feeling *^_^* I'm hoping there will be some more detailed information on what will be on the first DVD set soon. I want to talk it up at my local comic book stores to see if they will order it in, and maybe get some display/promo goodies.

It's so cold, and it's been snowing all day. Outside is very foofy white. I'm in my Gargoyles pull over sweatshirt and I'm loving how warm it is. ~mad love for the sweatshirt~ It's perfect for indoors, because it's lighter than my regular sweats and doesn't give me that overheated feeling, but is far warmer than a t-shirt alone. It's also great for when I have to run out for something because I always forget a scarf or hat, but that hood is attached. Nice.

Was doing some surfing the other day, and found a Gathering Diary. Was stunned to find out that the person who wrote it was part of a group of people that all chipped in with IRC Goliath to win the Atlantis "The Last" script/ audio tape/ story board set at last Gathering. Gah!!! No wonder the bidding went so high, I wasn't just bidding against one person, but a group of persons together. *~_~* gwahhhh... Wish I had thought of getting others to throw in with me, but I hadn't even heard the script yet and hadn't thought that extra lengths might be needed. How disappointing. After hearing the presentation Greg did for The Last and the rest of Atlantis, I desperately wanted that audio tape and script.

Hope everyone is faring well. Anyone snowed in? I'm surrounded with the stuff. Thinking of a grocery run soon, as I'm running out of fresh veggies.

Howdy folks. Anyone watch Pardon the Interruption on ESPN yesterday? The comments about Janet were hilarious.

I am VERY close to the finish line on my Gargoyle dvds. Hunter's Moon part 3 is finishing up today and I'll start working on the design on that dvd tonight. I'm thinking more and more about doing music videos. Right now, I'm trying to find songs that would fit what I want to do. I'd like one song that fits the whole series and some others for certain story arcs (Hunter's Moon, City of Stone, Avalon, The Gathering, possibly the World tour). So far I've come up with one possibility for the whole series, but I'm not positive. Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith could fit the series, I think. What do you folks think?

I've decided to do the Goliath Chronicles as 6 episodes per disc (well, 1 disc for the first 6 and then another for the remaining 7). The quality will suffer a bit, but, in my mind, those episodes don't deserve 4 dvds.

And now to finish Hunter's Moon!

About Janet Jackson humm... I thought that it was funny. Buy seriously think people over reacted about it all. I mean come on. It's just skin, not like the ultimate desaster of the world or any thing! Infact most people these days at the age of 13 or yonger have seen that at school or on tv. So I really don't know why people would make a big deal about it. It's what all females are born with for god sake. Perfectly natual, not like the end of the world. So what?

And that is all I will say, for now!

Janet Jackson....personally, I find it more disturbing that people seem to only blame her, when someone else tore her top. The guy is the one people need to be mad at, as Janet may or may not have agreed to it, but he certainly is guilty. Reminds me of all the "Eve sinned first" crap at concervative churches.

This whole thing about Janet Jackson is absolutely freaking hilarious.
Everyone complaining needs to get a life, immediately. It's a breast. Everyone has them. Ooh, scandalous. It amazes me that in the twenty-first century we're completely desensitized to violence on TV, but as soon as anyone flashes a little skin it's as though the sun has exploded.
Absolutely hilarious. I may just grab a beer and scroll through the comments of outraged prudes on the news websites, just for entertainment.
