Attercop: Well, it may not be on the Introduction page, but the no-multiple topics thing is on the page where you submit your questions:

"Please post separate questions for each topic you wish to ask. If you have 3 or so questions about one topic (for example, Oberon) you may post them together. But if you wish to ask about multiple topics (for example, Oberon AND Goliath and Elisa's relationship) please make separate posts for each topic."

Todd> Okay, tanks Todd. I'll try to refine my post. :) Perhaps that should be something listed in the guidelines, to prevent it happening again? And yes, Guardian is an existing DC Comics character, though I am unsure whether he had any involvement with Cadmus in the comics.

On a somewhat related note, and since Gorebash happens to be in the vicinity...any word on my offer to help out with the screening of YJ-related questions? My e-mails haven't been receiving answers since 10/28.

I understand completely if the process for getting everything into place is taking a while, but I'd really appreciate a heads-up. Thanks. :)

Thanks, Brainiac.

Todd Jensen> The character is indeed from DC Comics and not a wholesale creation of the production team. Wikipedia and DC Wikia links follow in the spoilers.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guardian_%28DC_Comics%29
http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/James_Harper_%28New_Earth%29
PHOENICIAN - Oh, and thanks for the "On this Day" feature about Maol Chalvim.
Todd Jensen

ATTERCOP - Yes, Matt's right. I deleted that question because of the multiple topics.

While I'm here, a question for the people who know the DC Comics universe a lot better than I do.
Was the Guardian working at Cadmus Labs in the opening two-parter of "Young Justice" an actual DC character, or an invention of the production team?
Todd Jensen

Browsing through Wikipedia, and according to that site, today is the anniversary of Maol Chalvim II's death back in 1034, which lead to Duncan becoming King of Scotland.

The "On This Day" feature also mentions Macbeth being a cousin, and making note that Duncan was in fact Maol's grandkid from his second born daughter ;)

Attercop> Part of the problem might've been that you had multiple topics in one question.

Comet: Disney seems to be cool about fans sites putting screencaps online. This site and lots of other Gargoyles-related sites have been doing that since 1994 without Disney coming down on any of them. Furthermore they even went so far as to acknowledge the fanbase (and thus the web sites that brought together the fans) via the Gathering documentary. Just be sure to stick a line somewhere on your site pointing out that Gargoyles is owned by Disney, etc (copy & paste the text at the very bottom of this web page if you want).

Attercop: Keep asking whatever you want and if it doesn't meet the guidelines then it'll get cut and if it's okay it'll get through. I can't give you a specific answer to the question that got cut because I didn't see it. However if breaking into the business is something you want to learn more about from Greg's perspective then search the archives as he's answered that particular question at least a couple dozen times. Try searching for something like "break into" or "breaking into" (WITH the quotes!)

Gorebash

No I wasn't. I've used Ask Greg before and I have respect for Greg not to. I was asking about some advice he gave on "how to break into the television writing business", in which his answer was "Greg's first answer". I was wondering if there was a second answer.

I also asked about Zatanna's spells *translations* and when we might be getting the loglines for the upcoming episodes of Young Justice. Thanks for replying.

Attercop> Were you asking for a spoiler for Gargoyles or Young Justice by chance?
Antiyonder

This is intended for the operator(s) of the website.
I'd first of all like to thank you for the website, and for hosting Ask Greg. But I have a questions. About three or four days ago I asked a question under the name Attercop. However, the question was not approved, and subsequently deleted. I'm not here to rage or anything, but I was wondering what in particular violated the guidelines, because there are other questions I'd still like to ask without spamming and wasting your time repeatedly deleting my questions. Thanks for your time, and feel reee to email me the response, whatever suits you better. :)

Just watched "Hunters Moon" pt 3 again. Something I've always wondered(being the audiophile I am). The Music soundtrack on that episode is mixed to mono. The voices & sound effects are still stereo, just the music is mono. Curious if there was a reason behind it or if it was an error. Any thoughts?
Wingless

Comet: I've never gotten any complaints from Disney...

So, if you want to post screencaps, go ahead. I don't think you'll have any problems.

COMET: Don't see why. DTaina's image archive has been up for years and I don't think she's ever gotten any hassal for it.

Does Disney have a problem with Gargoyles fansites that show many screencaps?

Greg W.'s YJ update today made me very, very happy. Season 1 is DONE! :D

Just wish we knew we knew when "Misplaced" is officially coming, LOL. As another Greg W.-penned script, I have high hopes.

Argh! I can't believe I missed the countdown this week. I'm working away from home and have only limited internet access. So disappointed I missed it...

But thanks for trying, Brainiac!

There's also the possibility someone would be reminded of Bear Claw Falls in Maggie Valley, NC. I kid you not.

Personally, I just wild-ass guessed that you guys were naming Doctors and turned out to be right. Like Battle Beast, the only Doctor actor I can name off the top of my head is David Tennant, and that's only because of his connections to the Harry Potter and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic franchises (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3qS0odekuU).

As for the "lions and tigers and bears" thing, I keep hearing it in the voice of Jeff Bennett appreciatively declaring, "Hey! A costume over a costume!"

BRAINIAC - Actually, I didn't have anyone in mind for that line. Though, now that you mention it, Angela in costume for the "Double Date" story would have been appropriate.
Todd Jensen

Oh geez. I did *not* get that. (For some reason, I never remember that Maggie's got lion DNA.)
Spen

Todd> Lions and Tigers and Bears! Oh my!

Battle Beast> It's a pity you don't watch Doctor Who - you might have lead into you comment with a "Matt Smith" if you did.

Todd> Forgot to ask this in the previous post - would said person making this statement happen to be a certain Manhattan clan member dressed up for Halloween (circa 1996)?

They are listing off Dr. Whos. I only know this, without having to look it up, because I know who David Tennant is. And no, I don't watch Dr. Who.

Wingless> I don't know if you knew this or not, but there is a new Disney Channel in Canada showing Gargoyles. And now that I think of it, I think you may have mentioned this before...

Since the recent TV Tropes page has given me the excuse, I'm going to post a few more random "Greg Weisman" responses from Formspring...mostly because I'm tired of having all these open windows clogging up my browser, LOL.

Greg Weisman (born September 28, 1963 in Los Angeles, California) is an American comic book and animation writer and producer. Weisman is currently a producer on the Young Justice animated series. In addition, Weisman wrote the script for DC Showcase: Green Arrow, an animated short feature that is included on the DVD for the film, Superman/Batman: Apocalypse.

Vinnie> Tom Baker.

Spen> Peter Davison.

Jurgan> Sylvester McCoy.

And the next one is the most appropriate for something like this...

Todd> David Tennant.

Well Supermorff, Algernon...I tried.

Latest bad "Gargoyles" creativity demon: Sevarius mutates somebody into a bear-like creature. The victim goes to live in the Labyrinth, where somebody sees him or her standing next to Maggie and Claw, and says....
