Todd : Your anti-virus program is probably wiping your history section, which in turn "logs you out".

Is Greg going to shut down the ask greg section soon? The show is going on hiatus and he hasn't answered any questions in a while.

Second time this week that I've been logged out - apparently my computer is having problems. (Though I've already discovered it's been infected by a virus that I'm trying to clean out.)

Thanks for the link to your fanfic, Masterdramon. I enjoyed it, and thought it captured the Lex Luthor of "Young Justice" (even though I've only seen him in "Targets" - but he was a lot of fun there) well.

Masterdramon> There you are, first Young Justice fic I can add to my favorites list! I've been looking all over for you!

Seriously, though, that's a very good read and actually keeps the tone fo the series. Thanks for linking it.

Ross
Hufflepuff pride, yo.

RICHARD JACKSON - Thanks.

Todd>
That was Professor Ojo from the sixth episode "Infiltrator". He was personally captured by Superboy in that episode.
Richard Jackson

MASTERDRAMON - Thanks. I've seen the other three episodes now, and liked them as well.
I'm still trying to figure out who the guy was in "Terrors" who recognized Superboy - the one with the odd-looking helmet. It's implied that he was from an earlier episode, but I can't place him. Of course, it's been a while since I saw episodes 1-8.
Todd: Really glad you've finally managed to get your hands on the third DVD release. I definitely think you'll be enjoying the next three - with special attention paid to Episode 11, "Terrors," as it's the first episode since the two-part pilot to be personally written by Greg Weisman himself.

I'd also like to inform you, if you weren't already aware, that Episodes 14-26 of "Young Justice" will be released as a single DVD set as "Young Justice: Dangerous Secrets" on July 24. So assuming your library orders a copy of it, you at least won't have to deal with these long lags between sets of episodes anymore.

And while I'm here, I guess I might as well post a link to a "Young Justice" one-shot fanfic I recently completed, starring Lex Luthor. Just in case anyone's interested, LOL.

Finally managed to check "Young Justice Volume Three" out of the library today, and watched "Bereft" (I'm saving the other three episodes for later).

A good episode, including a performance from Marina Sirtis at the end.
Psimon was definitely creepy. Incidentally, I've heard that in Season Two of "Young Justice", the Light has a mysterious partner with his/her/its own agenda - I wonder if it's the same as the partner in this episode who sent the Sphere to Bialya.
Why stop at three? You can watch the first nine episodes at nick.com. At least, I think they're all still up. I don't have cable anymore, so that's how I've been watching.
Jurgan - [jurgan6@yahoo.com]

B-Thanks. Wasn't aware it was that far ahead. I knew there were the trade paperbacks, but not a new series until today. Just about to check out the next 2 eps.
As for Young Justice, if it wasn't for the internet, I still wouldn't know what was going on. Only the first 8 or 9 episodes aired in Canada.

Wingless

Wingless - Yeah, in America the first nine episodes of Korra have already aired. It's a fairly popular and well-known show. One of the fansites is called Korranation. There's also an interactive game called Welcome to Republic City on the Nickelodeon official site that has background information about the series.
B

For Avatar-The Last Airbender fans: Not sure if there's been much talk about a new series-but YTV Canada just premiered episode one of the new show The Last Airbender: The Legend Of Korra. It takes place 70 years after the original series. I'll leave the rest to you to watch. The strange thing is-we now have a "Nick" channel in Canada-yet YTV is carrying the show-go figure. Anyway, The YTV site has the first 3 episodes available online. Not sure if they're available to view everywhere, but the link is at my name. Enjoy.

This week's Young Justice was beyond words for me. Woah.
anybody know why artemis went on the ship with Kaldur though? It seems to me like that spell could easily be ruined if, say, Artemis tripped and broke that thing she's wearing by accident, or something like that
Is it allowed to use these "official pics" on any fanpage?

I prefer to ask before simply doing it. I only use selfmade screenshots so far, but it would be nice to have a gallery with these.

@Demonskrye Thanks for posting that. I saw that earlier today at a different forum I frequent. Is there any news when this will hit the states?

Sadly, I just read that Danica McKellar is going through a divorce. I wish her the best in her hard time and hope she pulls through as painless as possible.

Haven't been by here in ages, but I did want to make sure Gore had seen this:

COMET> I suspect those characters will show up on "Young Justice" when Bugs Bunny, crossdressed shows up with Elmer Fudd as his date to the House of Mouse.

I still don't know anything about YJ, but I think this list is very interesting, and maybe gives an idea:

Anonymous: If you mean implicitly, then the series has already included several characters who are gay in the comics (such as the Brain).

If you mean explicitly, then no. Unfortunately, homosexuality remains one of the topics that is strictly verbotten from being depicted explicitly in "children's television," including "Young Justice." We've come a long way in progressive depictions of homosexuals in entertainment, but we're still not quite there yet.

Are there gay characters in "Young Justice"? Statistically, there must be. And "Young Justice" has been one of the boldest animated series I've seen in recent years in terms of alluding to their existence (Batman saying that Queen Bee's pheromone-based powers can control "most men and some women," for example).

But expecting them to be depicted openly as such, on-screen, is an unrealistic demand of the writing staff. I'm confident this will change someday...but no, we're definitely not there yet.

Hey everyone,I just started watching Young Justice and had a question, are there any or do you think there will be any gay characters in the show? Thanks

"Brave words for a man who hides his face behind a hood." - Goliath, "The Journey."

Just saw the "Growing Pains" episode of "The Spectacular Spider-Man" on YouTube. This is one of my favorites, because of all the Shakespeare quotes, which I had fun identifying. (Flash's attempt to do Polonius' speech about Hamlet being mad was hilarious, as was Sally's rendition of "One may smile and smile and be a villain".)

And talk about a cliffhanger ending!

Re Bloodlines
Perhaps the physical change preceded the memory change by some seconds or minutes? I.e. in a few minutes later his memories would have altered accordingly with the time changes.
J29
"Love makes you do the wacky."

YJ time travel> YJ time travel absolutely does not operate on the same principle as Gargoyles, and
history can be altered. The episode itself demonstrated that much. The reason that the future is still horrible is because Bart didn't/hasn't/won't manage to solve the whole problem. From this, I can only assume that further time travel will be necessary down the road.

I have no idea how to incorporate Neutron's knowledge of the previous timestream into the rules, or his presence at Mount Justice when he'd have no reason to be there. It doesn't seem logical to me, given the rules that the episode is trying to establish.
YJ Bloodlines Spoilers
It should have all "crashed" or at least that's what Neutron was expecting but it didn't so something went wrong I guess or they miscalculated.
Anthony Tini

Some Geek > I would LIKE it if YJ followed the same rules of time travel as Gargoyles (because in my mind those are the only time travel rules that make sense) but I don't think that's the case.
Maybe I'm confusing myself here, but let's talk about Neutron for a second. If Impulse was successfully able to go back in the past and cure Neutron (even if he didn't fix anything else) then why would Neutron still have been at Mount Justice at the end of the episode, and why would he have had any memories at all of Bart? Why would Neutron, who is a perfectly normal man at that point, have gone with Bart to Mount Justice to help Bart go back in time? We see him touching his neck where the inhibitor collar used to be but if Neutron was cured back in 2011 by Impulse then why would he have any memories of wearing an inhibitor collar? THIS Neutron, the one in the white button down shirt, never wore one.
This leads me to believe that YJ rules of time travel are completely different than Gargoyles. Still trying to get a handle on the YJ rules, but what I'm leaning towards is:

1. History is NOT immutable. You can change the past (although your efforts might not have the effect you want).

2. If you change the past for someone, they will somehow still remember the original past (the one you were trying to change).

Rebel

Random thought comparison of Young Justice to Gargoyles.

In Young Justice, the idea of Time Travel was introduced (and
what we see of the future at the start of the episode is unchanged at the end of the episode despite what the time traveler did - this means that either the time traveler did not actually fix the event that was the lynchpin to it all,
or that Young Justice will follow some rules of time travel that Gargoyles did.

In Gargoyles, time was immutable - as even said by Goliath at one point after his experiences with the Phoenix Gate. Episodes like Phoenix Gate and MIA show events still unfolding as they once did , but we gained a different perspective on the specifics even though the in-story characters perception of it never changed and appeared to have been accurate from their POV all along.

So as a random ramble that none of us can necessarily answer but tossing it out there as a thought in my head... will YJ time travel follow the same rules as Gargoyles?
