As of "Reawakening," she definitely doesn't consider Goliath or the rest of the Manhattan Clan "her clan."

She implies that "her clan" is Xanatos, the Steel Clan, and Coldstone, but that doesn't last long, of course.

As for whether she would destroy a sleeping gargoyle, she certainly threatened to do so in "High Noon," but she didn't actually carry out that threat, she was under the control of the Weird Sisters at the time, and she has never had the opportunity to do so since then.

I don't think she considers Goliath or Hudson "her clan" anymore. And I think it would all really depend on the gargoyle and the circumstances. AND keep in mind that just because Demona has said she would do something, doesn't mean she actually would/could if it came to it.

She's a complicated character, you see.

Demona knows that there are very few Gargoyles left and she's willing to kill her own clan. Goliath, Bronx, Hudson... so yah, a sleeping Gargoyle? She'd do it in a heartbeat.

I did it! I watched all 485 Best picture nominees in 365 days!

Comet> Probably. After which she'd blame someone else for making her do it.
Supermorff

Do you think Demona would be able to smash a sleeping Gargoyle? I mean, emotionally.

Double, double, toil and trouble. Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

Plus, it was $9.99, now it's $8.99! They are practically giving it away!

Not to mention Danica McKellar (Miss Martian), Nicole Dubuc (one of Greg's writers for "Young Justice," "The Spectacular Spider-Man," and "W.I.T.C.H.")...

And STAN ****ING LEE himself!

I'd like to hear how Greg managed to pull that one off when the queue next reopens. But for the moment, I'm sold.

Or...sold even more than I already was, anyway.

It's nice to know a little more about the plot. Thanks for the heads up, Phoenician.

And thanks for getting the ball rolling in here. Been a little quiet.

Looks like the Rain of the Ghosts page on Amazon got a few new additions in the form of a description and some of those blurbs that Greg Weisman teased about in an earlier ramble . . .

I admit, I'm intrigued ;)

Bishansky> Demona for one? Brilliant. One = Alone. Love it.

I didn't get it at first, but after thinking it over for about a minute, I understood it.

(And trust you to be the one to think of it, Bishansky. :) )

I almost did DEMONA! for first... but I don't know if people would have gotten it.

"For every two dozen Phantom Menaces, there is a Return of the King. For every two-bit Shyamalan, a Stanley Kubrick is born. For every poor soul who groans during an Adam Sandler-funded Rob Schneider vehicle, there is a child crying life-affirming tears when Bambi's mom is shot. Somewhere out there, a film student is finding out what Rosebud means for the first time. A man is pausing as Fredo prays the Hail Mary on a boat over Lake Tahoe. A woman grasps her heart as Bogie's love flies off into the foggy night. All it takes is one moment to change a person. And that one moment... no matter how fleeting... is worth a thousand Transformers."

Yeah, Greg B had it easy. I can think of lots of trios. Still, he got it started, so kudos there.

I'm highly impressed by some of the combinations some of you came up with for numbers in the countdown that I thought would be impossible/difficult to do... :)

Jalen> I think the Thing is on an average day, stronger than the Hulk. But the madder Hulk gets the stronger he gets. So ultimately the Hulk is stronger. But that doesn't mean the Thing can't take him. Ben Grimm knows his stuff.

I was wondering who was stronger: Wolf or Claw. Can you explain in the later series.

There is balance in all things. Live in symmetry with the world around you. If you must blow things up and steal from those around you, THAT'S WHAT RPGS ARE FOR!

Gabriel, Angela, Ophelia, Boudicca, Raphael, Uriel, Michael, Azrael, and Archangel!

(Granted, five of those are canon-in-training, but still.)
