Here's a link to a petition urging against the tearing down of the Book House that I mentioned earlier this week:

I did it! I watched all 485 Best picture nominees in 365 days!

Matt> Nah, there isn't a major release for The Legend of Zelda happening this week.

I know at least one of you will find that amusing.

There is balance in all things. Live in symmetry with the world around you. If you must blow things up and steal from those around you, THAT'S WHAT RPGS ARE FOR!

Well, I suppose if it is, I might as well offer one of my own!

First (and possibly only) footage I've managed to find of ASK GREG LIVE! at WonderCon 2013. Nothing particularly big, but sharing anyway.

BTW, that's me dipping my head in the frame at 0:13. Hi me! :D

CHIP - Sorry. I suppose it was indeed a case of, as you said, your posting in the comment room so seldom that I'd almost forgotten you.

Todd>> Did you forget about me? I mean...I know I live in St. Charles, and I don't pipe up all that often in the CR...But still...Nice to be included!

;D But seriously though, I have been to the Bookhouse and this makes me sad. I'd be more than happy to spread the word.

The Chrysler Building hadn't even been built yet when Mace Malone hid those marbles in the silver falcon sculpture.

Gorebash> He wouldn't. The marbles were hidden in the Apex Tower, not the Chrysler. ;)

"For every two dozen Phantom Menaces, there is a Return of the King. For every two-bit Shyamalan, a Stanley Kubrick is born. For every poor soul who groans during an Adam Sandler-funded Rob Schneider vehicle, there is a child crying life-affirming tears when Bambi's mom is shot. Somewhere out there, a film student is finding out what Rosebud means for the first time. A man is pausing as Fredo prays the Hail Mary on a boat over Lake Tahoe. A woman grasps her heart as Bogie's love flies off into the foggy night. All it takes is one moment to change a person. And that one moment... no matter how fleeting... is worth a thousand Transformers."

Moses Gates has a hobby I think is fascinating: urban exploring.

I found this video of Moses walking around (and on!) the Chrysler Building gargoyles.

No word on if he found any marbles.

This is off topic, I know, but the Book House in Rock Hill, St. Louis, is in danger of being torn down and replaced by an industrial warehouse. The Book House is an excellent independent bookstore, that I've visited regularly for years and found many fine books there that I treasure. It would be a great loss if it was destroyed. I don't know how many people here live in St. Louis besides myself and Matt, but for those who do, I urge you to spread the word and see if we can help save it.

The Book House's phone number is (314) 968-4491, and its website is www.bookhousestl.com .

Greg Bishansky> I know human women can have a beard too.^^
But I wanted to talk about if it's possible for female Gargoyles not even in very rare cases, but with the same frequency as in the males, like there was none or very little difference.

Wow, nice work in the countdown. I think that's the first time I've ever seen a countdown here in which every single person used the same format. Even on a regular countdown there's a split between numerals and words, or cardinals and ordinals. But here, all 10, same format... I'm very impressed, and only slightly disappointed that we didn't go to 16.

Now, I think I have a topic.
Facial hair seems to be rare among Gargoyles. The only ones currently known to have it are Hudson, Leo, Brooksbro, and a few characters from Ishimura.
In "The Mirror", there's a female Gargoyle/human shown having a beard-like mane almost like Leo. She only appears for a second, but she's clearly female and has a full beard ...
So, what does this mean?
- is it a simple error/blooper?
- or was it caused by Puck's spell in some way?
- or is it really possible that facial hair isn't limited to male Gargoyles? To be honest, this is what I tend to think.

Comet

Well, that was remarkably organized, albeit slow.

I'm just psyched that I got Flash!
