**Looking for decorations underneath the cookie table before the CR turns midnight**

It seems just yesterday we were anticipating the 20th Anniversary of everybody's favorite show . . . but, in fact, TWENTY-ONE years ago today "Awakening: Part One" first aired. :D

Cheers to all those who worked on Gargoyles and to everyone who keeps the fandom going!

LANDON> Indeed, still I wouldn't read too much into it. It's very possible the writer just asked for some generic bat-winged alien design and the artist was a fan.

It's more than just the wings, too: a brow-ridge, glowing/pupil-less eyes, pointy fingers to represent claws. She even has an arm band like Demona's.

LANDON> Well that's certainly... suggestive. I don't want to read too much into it since bat-winged humanoids are a dime a dozen in speculative fiction. But the art style does look very reminiscent of our gargs.

Maybe the clones were fresh out of the incubator. Delilah on the other hand had been taken out a couple weeks earlier since she was Thailog's sex toy.

DEL> Thailog neglected to program them with proper dental hygiene habits.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know why the majority of the clones have full photo negative coloring, but Thailog and Delilah have normally colored teeth and mouths?

For me, they (among a few others) inspired my enjoyment of the so-called Fantasy Kitchen Sink concept as well as the All Myths Are True trope (along with an enjoyment of "Hidden World" concepts). Heck, there was a time I considered (and still do, on occasion) looking seriously into the real-world equivalent, Comparative Mythology, as a potential career course.

There is balance in all things. Live in symmetry with the world around you. If you must blow things up and steal from those around you, THAT'S WHAT RPGS ARE FOR!

I guess I always was interested in world geography and history, but I think the biggest things that sharpened my interest were Quest for Glory and Gargoyles (specifically the Avalon World Tour).

You are now my favorite and likely will be for quite some time.

I'm poking around in QfG3 at the moment, redoing some full series hybrids.

I think of MetalSeadramon, Puppetmon, Machinedramon, and Piedmon, personally.

But that's just me.

Hey anyone live near Hill Valley? I'm only asking because Marty and the Doc are supposed to show up there today.
