Hi Greg. Just wondering--was the part in the Journey where Goliath went to see Elisa the first time the two talked or saw each other since the kiss at the end of Hunter's Moon 3? If not, when did they first see or talk to each other after the kiss? Thanks!

Greg responds...

Elisa and Goliath kiss on the morning of October 27, 1996.

Goliath goes to see Elisa just after Midnight on October 29, 1996.

I find it hard to believe that they didn't see each other at all on the 27th or 28th. But it's very possible that they had no time alone to discuss what had happened.

Is Mab the most powerful being of the third race? If so who is number two? Oberon?

Greg responds...

Generally speaking, yes. Mab #1. Oberon #2.

But power is a relative concept. And depends on how or what it's used for. There may in fact be many with more power, but only to do certain things. Or who only would do certain things.

See?

DO YOU THINK THAT MAX STEEL WILL EVER BE MADE INTO A FULL-LENGTH FEATURE FILM?

Greg responds...

In a word, no.

But who knows? Max Steel is owned (largely if not entirely) by Mattel. Would you count "Barbie in Rapunzel" as a full-length feature? If so, then I suppose it is possible.

In a previous response, when asked about the work you did on Big Guy and Rusty, you noted that the Legion Ex Machina was someone else's idea, and that your "version of it was very different. Duane rewrote me quite a bit, actually." What was your version of the Legion like?

Greg responds...

Well, it's a bit hazier now.

First off, I should say that the Legion (including the name for it) was Duane's idea. And he was the story editor, so he was welcome to do whatever he wanted with it.

But I basically did NOT have a bunch of look alike guys. I had a multi-racial group of individuals (one female, the rest male). The idea was to trick the audience into thinking the Legion was being run by a bunch of humans. And not reveal til later that they were also robots.

Or so I recall. It's been a VERY long time.

ATTENTION FANS OF MATT BLUESTONE

Tom Wilson (the voice of Matt Bluestone) is currently recurring on the NBC series Ed, playing a widowered fireman and a potential love-interet for the Molly Hudson character, played by actress Leslie Boone, whom I've also worked with on 3x3 EYES. (Leslie is a very good friend of Thom "Lexington" Adcox.)

I've worked with Tom on most of the series where I had some control over casting, like MAX STEEL and TEAM ATLANTIS. He's one of my absolute favorite performers, and he and Leslie make a very cute couple. He's already been on two episodes. I don't know how long a run he'll get. But I hope he sticks around.

if all had gone on as planned after the sacking of Wyvern, what was the Captain planning on doing? retireing with ransom money? joining the Vikings?

Greg responds...

Definitely not joining the Vikings. I'm not sure what "retired" means in this context. He'd definitely have to get out of town. But, yes, with the money.

How many versions of the Steel Clan has Xantos created besides the first batch and the batch in the Edge with electric defenses and advanced AI?

Greg responds...

There have only been two models of Steel Clan Robot.

The original model, commissioned by Xanatos, seen in "Awakening, Part V" and "The Edge" and "Double Jeopardy" and "The Price", etc.

And the Iron Clan Robot model, commissioned by Owen Burnett, specifically to battle Oberon and/or Titania, as seen in "The Gathering, Part II". These are larger, and their chassis are made from iron as opposed to steal, but most of the other tech specs are the same.

The so-called "Advanced AI" model that I assume you're referring to from "The Edge" was not a robot at all. But a suit of armor (red in color) that Xanatos wore. Though from the outside it looked like a red version of the robots, it in fact was obviously constructed very differently. I'm not saying they didn't use any of the robot tech on the suit, since they obviously did, but it also required a separate develpoment phase.

Hi Greg....

I have two questions for you.... One, is Matt married or single? And Two, if Matt is single, do you think he likes Elisa as more than a friend or co worker?

Greg responds...

Matt is single.

And although I'm not saying that he doesn't find Elisa attractive, I think he views her as his partner, a more fraternal relationship. I don't think he's interested in her romantically.

Besides anti-gravity,force shields and robotics what other interesting tech do the NOs have?

Greg responds...

Holographics? (Whatever keeps you from seeing the island until you get within a certain perimeter.)

Are gargoyles aliens?

Greg responds...

Nope. They are native to our world. (And, I know I've answered this before, anonymous. You should check the faq.)
