Sorry about the typing mistakes, I wanted to know if you liked some of the other ideas people had in their fanfics on how Elisa and Goliath eventually get together.

See my previous answer...

Hey Greg this is my first time asking a question so forgive me if it's a repeat. I have always wanted to know what you thought about elisa and goliath fanfics, have ever liked some of other people's ideas on how goliath and elisa eventually get together?

Greg responds...

I don't ever read fanfics. To find out why, check out the ASK GREG FAQ. (Because, indeed, your question has been asked many times before.)

I haven't had a chance to get to my comic store yet, but they're holding a copy of Clan Building Volume One for me.

I was watching City of Stone last night and I was wondering something. How close were Demona and Macbeth before she betrayed him? Was she his best friend? Was he hers? Did Demona consider him as close to her as her clan? Or am I seeing something that;s not there, and were they just allies?

Thank you for answering my questions.

-D

Greg responds...

They were allies, but I think they truly valued each other.

Ha, I finally got Gargoyles #7. Took long enough, atleast it brought the TPB with it. :)

The new stories are quite interesting and it's nice to see how everything is set up and interwoven.
I hope the comic will be around for a long time.

Goliath looks rather seductive on the TPB's back.

Greetings,
Sabina

Greg responds...

That's a Hedgecock Goliath on the back, I believe. (Going from memory here. Don't have the book in front of me.)

Hi, I've been a fan of Gargoyles since it firstdebuted in 1994. I was thrilled when the first season came out on DVD. I bought it along with Season 2 Volume 1 as soon as they were released. I was disappointed to hear about Volume 2 being shelved. Has the status on that situation changed any? Also, I have all six issues of the comic book that have been released so far and they're outstanding. It's great to have the Gargoyles back again. Thanks for your time and keep up the greatwork.

Greg responds...

Thank you Alberto. No new news currently on the DVD. I swear, I swear, I swear, guys, as soon as I know something I will let you know. You do NOT have to keep asking. Rest assured that I have NOT given up and continue to work on my contact at BVHE.

I have a question about the Mayan Clan and their pendants, I was looking at some recent This Day entries and found myself wondering about something.

From This Day in Gargoyles Universe History:
<<After sundown, the travelers depart. But they bring Jade and Turquesa along to transplant samples of the rain forest flora in Avalon. They arrive on the mystic island at dawn and Goliath, Angela and Bronx sleep through the Avalonian day. Elisa introduces Jade and Turquesa to Princess Katharine and the Guardian, and all spend the day scouting Avalon for a good location for the rain forest transplants.>>

I'm a little unclear on what is described here. Does it mean that Jade and Turquesa also spent the day awake? That they brought the pendants onto the island?

Greg responds...

Seems they did. Hmmmm.... It's only canon-in-training, so I have to decide if I made a mistake there, or if there's an explanation. Sounds like a mistake though, doesn't it?

Never got around to mentioning it, but someone in the comment room mentioned your writing for the part of Legion Of Super-Heroes "Man From The Edge Of Tomorrow, Part 2". Good job on the episode. I enjoyed the reference to Batman and the JLA as well as the moments between Bouncing Boy and Duo Damsel. So anyway, I had some Legion questions (cartoon and comics related) if you don't mind me asking:

1. Anything major changes between the episode drafts story/character/dialogue wise?

2. Did you collect LOSH on a regular basis?

2a. If yes, any thoughts on The Great Darkness Saga if you read it (which had Darkseid as the major antagonist)?

2b. Once again, if yes, what were your thoughts if any on the storyline which dealt with the Legion's Superboy. The story in question had to come up with an explanation of Superboy's presense in the LOSH when John Byrnes' revamp made it clear that Clark Kent never took on the role of Superboy.

Greg responds...

1. Lots of minor changes. A few I'd even consider major.

2. Once upon a time, yes.

2a. I remember liking it, but it's been, what, like twenty-five years or something?

2b. I don't recall this, sorry.

I got the trade on Sunday, and I have to say, on the whole I really liked it. The size threw me at first, but I've come to the conclusion that it's a lot more portable than a full-sized trade would be. I also like that, in addition to minor printing errors being corrected, the colors were lightened in #2; Terrell's colors were stronger than what showed when #2 was printed, so it's nice to see the coloring job that was intended. Wendy Pini's intro was great, of course, and the new artwork was also nice, although a tad too zoomed-in. I liked that every issue was preceded by its cover; it's a pet peeve when TPBs don't include all the covers, or include them in a gallery at the end. It's fun to see a compilation of all the different artists/art teams collected like this; very different styles, though all strong (and it's awesome to see Hedgecock's continuous improvement). To everyone involved, keep up the good work! :)

Greg responds...

Thanks! We do our best!
