A few questions about Sphinx (all I know about her is her GargWiki profile and Im dying to know more):
1) Despite her appearance looking very much like an English gargoyle (wings, tail, humanoid body with cat features), she's not actaully a gargoyle, right? She's just pure New Olympian?
2) Can she fly, unlike a gargoyle's glide?
3) Do you think she has the physical strength to carry Terry in the air? (I ask this question because, given how the romance reminds me a lot of Goliath and Elisa, I wonder if we'll ever see Sphinx carrying Terry like Goliath carries Elisa)
4) How fast does she age as compared to a human? And how old is she when she meets Terry?

And, since Im sure Sphinx would be upset if I ignored her Terry, a quick question about him: any idea what kind of boat takes him to New Olympus? I think you've said he's going to sail around the world, so Im gonna guess a sailboat, is that right?

I hope Sphinx and Terry get a chance to have their story told in comic form!

Greg responds...

1. Correct.

2. Yes.

3. Yes.

4. I'm not saying.

5. Yes, it's a sailboat.

Iam very interested for the 3rd season as comics. But i want to know, comes this comics also translated into german language in the german book stores? My English is not the best, << you can see that in my text. and another question? in 1996 at the moment disney do not produce season 3 with you as author, why you dont changed to another company at this moment. (btw. The goliath chronicles sucks, the liason between goliath and eliza are also ignored.)

And btw. My favorite Episodes is Hunters moon part 1 - 3. Great story, very dramatical, and the lovely end, << at this moment between goliath and eliza, the fans waited since episode "the mirror" / german titel "Der Spiegel"

And is that true. Episode "the mirror" is cutted in usa (in tv) because the "world trade center"?

Greg responds...

I'm afraid I have no information on German translations.

And I don't own the property. Disney does. It wasn't and ISN'T mine to take anywhere else.

As far as I know, "The Mirror" still airs with all the others.

I know that this question was posted already but I wish to know if did anything change about making the real-life movie of Gargoyles?

And If answer is no, what could fans do about it. There is something we can do or not?

Greg responds...

AGAIN - if there was ANY news, you can be sure I'd TELL the fans. Instead of asking, go to the Live-Action Movie Archive here at ASK GREG and check the latest post.

And I can't think of anything the fans can do, beyond what I've said over and over. SPREAD THE WORD!

I've got a few questions about Sir Griff specifically, and the London Clan in General. I looked for them in the archives and found nothing.

1) In "Pendragon" King Arthur wondered how he was going to get Griff back to London. I've been thinking about it for a while and wondered myself: how did Arthur get Griff (and himself) back to London?

2) I'm assuming he met Staghart and Coco shortly after he arrived in 1996, what was his impression of the duo? Why does he not refer to them by their nicknames? (I'm assuming again that Staghart introduced himself by his nickname of Amp) Why did they choose to help Griff and Arthur protect the Stone of Destiny?

3) I doubt you'll answer this, seeing as you didn't at the Gathering, but just in case this question catches you on a generous day: when did the London clan's beast population go extinct?

4) Do Leo and Una have any biological children, and have we seen them so far in the comics?

5) Are there any heraldic archetypes besides [Lion, Unicorn, Griffin, Stag, Boar, and hippogryphs] that exist in the London Clan?

6) What was the London clan's population in 1940 when Griff vanished?

7) Besides the Manhattan Clan, are the London gargoyles aware of any of the other clans? In other words, before they met Goliath did they think that THEY were the last?

Some of these questions tend towards character analysis, and the others are just me wanting to get to know the London Clan a little better.

GARGOYLES LIVES FOREVER!!!!!!! We will rise again! The mere non-renewal of the series will not stop us!

Greg responds...

1. Macbeth.

2. Arthur tends toward the formal with all but his intimates.

3. When indeed?

4. Lunette is theirs. That wasn't meant to be a secret. Leo + Una = Lunette.

5. What you see and what you may see is what you get.

6. I haven't done the math. (Who knew this property would have so much math?)

7. Not saying.

You mentioned reading "Bone" at Comic-Con. What did you think of it? (I read it a few years ago - I have the one-volume edition as well as the first two individual volumes, which I bought before the one-volume edition came out - and enjoyed it.)

Greg responds...

I love it. I think it gets a bit messy toward the end. Thorn's "powers" seem to come and go at will, as does her ability to be sick, be healed, etc. Episodically, it may not have registered, but read in one sitting...

And although I wasn't at all disappointed with the ENDING, ending, I really felt like Bone's crush went unresolved. And I would have liked to see a scene where it was DEALT with.

But these are quibbles. Overall, I thought it was great.
