1. Why did Liz and Flash break up, and who broke up with whom?
2. How does Peter stick to walls through his costume? Wouldn't the hairs on his fingers be blocked? And how do his feet stick to walls, especially if he's wearing boots in his costume?
3. What is Hammerhead's real name (first and last)?
4. Were you allowed to use Marvel objects not related to Spider-Man? For example, could you mention Adamantium or Latveria?
5. How did Vulture, Sandman, Rhino, and the Mysterio robot escape from prison in Reinforcement? And why did they bother breaking the robot out?

Greg responds...

1. It was kind of mutual, since Flash was interested in M.J. and Liz was interested in Petey.

2. It's a thin costume (even the boots). That's why he's so cold all the time.

3. NO SPOILERS.

4. It never came up. If I had to guess, I'd assume Adamantium was okay and Latveria was not.

5. I don't recall.

5a. I don't think they knew it was a robot.

1. Where was Master Planner's lair? What was the building Spider-Man was looking at, how did he know he could enter underwater, how was it built, and how did the villains get in?
2. What did Black Cat do with the stolen jewel from the end of Persona?
3. How did Vulture fire the lasers from the back of his wings in Shear Strength?
4. Why did nobody at the racetrack notice the Green Goblin? It wasn't a very good disguise.
5. What experiment was Dr. Octavius working on that caused the arms to fuse to him? Was it a normal experiment or a supervillain one?

Greg responds...

1a. In the river.

1b. I don't recall.

1c. He got that info from Tinkerer, didn't he? (It's been a while, and my memory isn't the best.)

1d. I think that was more or less spelled out in the episode. At least to the extent one needs to know.

1e. In an elevator from that building, maybe?

2. Fenced it.

3. Hidden controls.

4. If you say so.

5. Define "normal".

1. Are the symbiote's webs living pieces of the symbiote, dead symbiote matter, or just waste produced by the symbiote?
2. Peter's costume gets ripped or torn in many episodes. How does he repair it?
3. In the Big Sky Billiard Room, there is a sign in the background that says "No gambling". Was this a joke, or does Montana not approve of or know about Blackie Gaxton being a bookie?
4. In Group Therapy, there is a sign that says "Jazzy Gianni: The Musical". In Gangland, the restaurant where the M^3 kids are eating is also called Jazzy Gianni's. Who is Jazzy Gianni, and why are a restaurant and a musical named after him?
5. What are those metal things Hammerhead wears on his hands? Do they enhance his strength?

Greg responds...

1. Fine question. I have no idea. I'll leave that to your interpretation.

2. With difficulty. (Also, he has two identical costumes.)

3. None of the above. What's legal and posted, doesn't always get respected - either by the owner or the help.

4. Jazzy Gianni was our code for Jazzy Johnny Romita Sr., the second artist (after Steve Ditko) to team with Stan Lee on Spider-Man. In universe, we imagined that Jazzy Gianni was a legendary man-about-town in New York City. And who's to say we're wrong?

5. They're the equivalent of brass knuckles. They don't enhance his strength, but they enhance the damage he can do with his fists.

Hello Greg, big fan of your work. My question is; Robin (Dick Grayson) seemed to me to have a slight stutter sometimes when he spoke in the series. I was wondering if it was because if you were going the comic book route that English was his second language and Romani his first. If it was the intention to have Jesse McCartney sometimes struggle through the lines or if it was a different intention entirely? Thank you so much for an awesome series. I hope you can answer my question.

Greg responds...

I think you're imagining the stutter. It was not intentional, and although I was at literally every record and heard the vocal tracks multiple, multiple times both before and after the episodes were completed, I have never noticed any stutter, slight or otherwise. Nor do I believe that Jesse struggled through anything. Nor do I believe that Dick struggled either.

Hi Mr. Weisman,

I first want to say that I enjoy Young Justice so much. Anyway I also wanted to ask

1.) In Season 2's "Intervention" was there any reason why the squad sent to free Blue Beetle wasn't all female? They did go to Qurac so was Queen Bee not a concern?

2.) Is it safe to assume that by the end of Season 2 the League had no evidence of Lex Luther's or Queen Bee's involvement in the Light and the Reach invasion? Lex seems to admit being part of the Light and helping the invasion in "Endgame" despite General Secretary Tseng being present but Tseng was kind of far away.

3.) What happened to the Reach scientist following her trial before the Guardians? Was her competence ever recognised considering the fact that the Ambassador consistently ignored her?

Greg responds...

1. I'd imagine they kept track of where she was, and she was in Bialya at the time. Plus, I doubt Impulse could have been convinced to skip the mission, so...

2. They have no hard evidence of Lex or Bee's complicity, correct.

3. NO SPOILERS.

haters gonna hate. writes...

sir,
I think that you'll find that you have been answering SPOILER to many Young Justice questions. I thought the show had finished. technically you cannot spoil that which is over. in saying SPOILERS, you are implying that Young Justice is in fact not over. thank you. also. how much more protesting/ buying of merchandise will it take to bring back Young Justice?

Greg responds...

I think I've made it very clear that Young Justice is not finished in my mind. I still hold out hope that it will come back. Always have.

Protesting accomplishes pretty much nothing. Buying merchandise does help if it's merchandise that pays back to Warner Bros or DC Comics.

That means, at this point, the following:

BUY THE DVDS and/or BLURAYS from a legit source (i.e. don't pirate them or buy them second-hand/used).

BUY THE COMPANION COMICS on COMIXOLOGY.

VIEW Season One and Season Two OVER AND OVER on NETFLIX.

Mr. Weisman,

I hate to be the bearer of bad news. In "The Multiversity: The Just #1", your "Young Justice" universe apparently only exists as a video game series on Grant Morrison's Earth-16.

How screwed up is that?! I would have to assume that if you plan to come back to "Young Justice," you'd probably reboot the series on yet another parallel Earth (perhaps one of the seven intentionally unknown parallel Earths in the new 52 DC multiverse)?

Greg responds...

We were given Earth-16. Not sure why DC/Morrison chose to do what they did in Multiversity. I wasn't privy to that decision. It's disappointing, but I'm sure they had their reasons.

If we come back, we're still Earth-16. It's too late for us to change.

If that screws things up, well... c'est la vie.

And if all we are is a video game on someone's world, well - we're a hell of a game!

Are the earth-16 martian power set telekinesis,telepathy,shape-shifting,camouflage,super-strength, flight,Density-shifting, and durability?

Greg responds...

Sorta.

They really only have two powers: mental and physical.

The mental includes telepathy and telekinesis, and the latter is what allows them to fly. It also allows them to control their organic clothing (and the Bio-Ship).

The physical is all about shape-shifting. Because they are generally shape-shifting into something smaller than their true form, they have a relatively high mass for their volume, i.e. a higher density, which gives them super-strength and durability. They can shift their density to allow them to pass through solid objects, and they can shape-shift their color, allowing them to camouflage their skin. (As for, camouflaging their clothes, see above.)

I think that covers it.

In "Revelations," Martin Hacker told Matt "Your job was to get him (Goliath) there (to the Hotel Cabal). It's not your fault if old Mace couldn't hold him." In fact, since Matt gave Goliath the key and physically stopped Mace from shooting Goliath, it was indeed Matt's fault that old Mace couldn't hold him.

Was Martin unaware of Matt's involvement in Goliath's breakout, or was he deliberately lying to Matt?

Greg responds...

For now, that's up to your interpretation. Matt assumes that no one but Goliath knows about Matt's complicity. Is he right?

NO SPOILERS.

1) If someone were to use the zeta tube to go out and at the same time someone is trying to go in (let's say that the others are busy ) what happens? Who gets priority?
2) Do atlateans eat sea food ? Or is that like taboo?
3) How do atlateans ummm... "take care of their business"? I mean being under water would be a great medium for bacteria (enteric bacteria) or especially trematodes. Is it done by ~magic~
4)So why did the blue scarab used "cease" and when Jaime asked what it meant by that we get no response? Was that suppose to be a tease?
5) how are you ? :) and thank you!

Greg responds...

1. You mean if LITERALLY they hit the button at the same exact second...? I don't know.

2. Of course they eat seafood? As opposed to what?

3. No. It's biological. But let's offer them their privacy, shall we?

4.

5. Pretty good. Thanks for asking.

You revealed at CONvergence that Nerissa and Cassidy were lovers.

1. Did the rest of CHKYN know?
2. If not, was it a secret because the 50's and 60's weren't the slightest bit progressive about same-sex relationships?
3. Were Nerissa and Cassidy still in a relationship when Nerissa killed her?

Greg responds...

What's said in a Blue Mug should stay in a Blue Mug, and in any case should be taken with a grain of salt. It's at best my opinion, and certainly NOT company sanctioned.

But anyway...

1. I think so.

2. Yes.

Greg you work for Disney again and are doing Star Wars I am curious I was looking at work for an Indiana Jones animated project artist Patrick Shoenmaker did that never came to be. My questions is if Disney ever produced an animated series would you be interested? Were you a fan of the Indiana Jones films? Did you ever read or get exposed to the comics either Further Adventures or Darkhorse run? The writing in those seem up your ally long archs I think it would be awesome if u are ever offered that opportunity what do you think?

Greg responds...

Well, I'm no longer working on Star Wars Rebels or at Disney - unless you count the work I'm doing at Marvel Comics, writing Star Wars Kanan and Starbrand & Nightmask.

But this is really just a hypothetical question anyway, so it doesn't really matter where I'm working.

Anyway, I loved Raiders of the Lost Ark. Didn't love the second or third movies as much and haven't seen the fourth. I loved the television series about Young Indy (though I can't remember it's exact title at this moment). Haven't seen any Indiana Jones comics.

But I have tremendous fondness for the franchise and would of course leap at the chance to work on it.

Hi Greg. Can you explain the behind-the-scenes reasons for your departure from "Rebels" after only one season? Or, would it be considered unprofessional for you to comment on this?

Greg responds...

Mostly it would be considered NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS, whether the reason was benign or malevolent. Probably unprofessional, as well. And that's not even counting the fact that I signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement with Lucasfilm.

But mostly, it's just the first reason. I'm happy to answer questions about process and about the show (as long as its not a spoiler). But I feel like on general principle this question crosses a line.

Hi Greg. I hope you don't think I'm playing a game of "gotcha" but there is something about "endgame" that bothers me. When Wally decided to go help Flash and Impulse, Captain Marvel was standing right beside him. (Actually, Artemis was right beside him but you get the idea.) I believe you have said that Cap is actually faster than Wally. Wouldn't it have made sense for Wally to ask Marvel to come along to help the Flashes?

Greg responds...

Though I'm not denying it per se, I don't recall saying that Cap is faster than Wally, and in any case, Season Two Cap is definitely NOT faster than Wally.

Besides, I just don't think it occurred to Wally to ask Cap. Fast or not, he's not considered a speedster. So it wouldn't be an automatic thing.

That's our hope. We're starting with Gargoyles Cinestory, Volume One, which is an adaptation of our five-part pilot, "Awakening".

Hello again, Mr. Weisman.

I just wanted to ask, are you a fan of John Carpenter's "The Thing"? Keith David and Charles Hallahan were both in it, and they were both on "Gargoyles". Could just be a coincidence, but I'm curious.

Hey, I just wanted to ask if you've seen the first two episodes of The Flash and what you thought of it? I really enjoyed Young Justice and just finished it and it's such a shame it was cancelled I hope you get to continue the story soon because I could see it being just as good or even better than The Justice league.

Greg responds...

I saw all of season one of Flash. And I'm just a couple episodes behind on Season Two.

Generally, I like Flash. It's probably my favorite of the Berlanti DC shows.

Mr. Weisman,

Have you read "The Multiversity: The Just" yet? If so, then what are your thoughts about this issue, considering it uses the same designation (Earth-16) as the setting of the "Young Justice" TV series? Do you feel this could create any problems for you if you ever decide to go back to "Young Justice" someday?

Greg responds...

I haven't read it and thus have no thoughts about it.

Hello Greg,
I know this question has nothing to do with the show "Gargoyles" but it is about "W.I.T.C.H", one of my favorite shows of all times. It is 2014 and W.I.T.C.H is still being viewed by newer fans and I wanted to ask about the songs from "S is for Self". "The Will to Love" and "Demon in Me" are my most favorite songs from the series and wanted to ask if there will be ANY chance at all for them to be shown in public and even if there was a chance for them to end up in iTunes. I would love to be able to buy the songs and be able to listen to them all day everyday. Thank you for your time.

Greg responds...

I have no idea, I'm afraid. I'd love it if they were. I wrote the lyrics to "Will to Love" and my brother Jon Weisman wrote the lyrics to "Demon in Me". It'd be very cool if they were available. We're proud of 'em.
