It seems like Vandal Savage is the leader of the Light, but I would imagine Klarion is significantly more powerful. As a Lord of Chaos, why does Klarion even bother submitting to Savage's plan, rather than wrecking havoc on his own?

Greg responds...

You don't think he's having fun?

In Spectacular Spider-Man, Dock Ock's power source or battery pack or whatever was called the Megalo Pack. What made you guys use that name. Was it something from the Comics?

Greg responds...

I don't remember.

I think that when Lorisa214 asked, "1) What Roy Harper had to get a new SIN? - (Social Insurance Number. I'm not sure what it's called in the States. But everyone gets one and it identifies you & only you)" and you replied, "1. Which Roy are we talking about?" that that was her question: which Roy was it that had to get a new SIN? Or Social Security Number, here in the States.

Greg responds...

Oh. Hm. Not sure. I'm sure clone Roy would have wanted to give his up. But he's the one with the adult life history that would make changing it difficult. So maybe Original Roy?

1. Given that the Third Race apparently knows about King Arthur's burial on Avalon (the Weird Sisters asked "Where's the sleeping king?" during their battle with the Magus in "Avalon, Part 3"), what is the significance of Oberon's referring to Titania as his "Once and Future Queen" in "Ill Met By Moonlight?"

2. On this question http://www.s8.org/gargoyles/askgreg/search.php?qid=1414 Todd Jensen mentioned a little bit about Merlin's life according to legend, including his encounter with King Vortigern. An eighteenth-century forger named William Henry Ireland wrote a play about Vortigern's life that he falsely attributed to William Shakespeare, on the grounds that Vortigern's story was so tragic, Shakespeare ought to have written about it. Given that King Arthur appears to have a prominent role in the Gargoyles Universe, and given also your love of Shakespeare, I'm especially curious to learn what role Vortigern has in the Gargoyles Universe.

By the way, I'm even more eager to learn what Shakespeare's story is in the Gargoyles Universe, than what Titania whispered to Fox.

Greg responds...

1. You're assuming Oberon knows the title of the book "Once and Future King"?

2. No Spoilers.

Rain of the Ghosts Typo contest entry.

Chapter One: Drums, Page 3.

Last sentence of the first full paragraph on the page.

"Then in perfect synch, the two teens turned down a dark alley, the bikes at at a forty-five-degree angle."

There shouldn't be a hyphen between forty-five and degrees.

Greg responds...

I think that must be a judgement call. I'm not counting that as a mistake. Sorry.

Question about Artemis' outfit:
i noticed in one earlier question how you said the writers wanted to make the costumes for the Teams outfits as realistic as they should be - thus why none if the girls had heels or anything. i was wondering why they chose to give artemis a cropped top, or was it just an aesthetic thing? its something ive noticed with a lot of other female superheros and i dont really get it; i would assume it would be colder and make that region slightly more vulnerable.
side note: i think its cool how the team behind young justice to make artemis half asian; its nice to seem more minority representation in superhero shoes, especially as a half asian myself :)

Greg responds...

1. You'd have to ask Brandon Vietti and Phil Bourassa. Maybe in-universe it's a freedom of movement thing. But most likely it's an aesthetic choice. Artemis' and/or Brandon's and/or Phil's.

2. It's a priority for us, and for me particularly, to get more diversity in there.

Why can't you accept the public's ideas on their newly created superheroes?

Greg responds...

Because I - or the company I work for - could get sued over it. I don't want to take that risk, and the companies I work for FORBID me from taking that risk. For more clarity, check out the introductory page of ASK GREG here:

For the love of all that is mighty please do a season 3 of Young Justice, my 3 year old son and I love that show.

Greg responds...

Ciera, why in the world would you think that decision is at all up to me?

Believe me, if it were up to me, we would never have stopped making it. (After all, why would I want to put myself out of work?) If it were up to me, we'd be premiering season seven this month.

Unfortunately, I don't get to make those calls.

In Young Justice: Invasion, why does the Team use the Greek alphabet (Alpha, Beta, Gamma, etc.) instead of the NATO alphabet (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, etc.) for squad distribution?

Hi! I've finsihed YJ and it was so awesome! (Without that Wally died)
But how can I help to make a third season when Netflix don't have the episodes in my country?
Thanks again for the awesome series and #KeepBingingYJ !

Greg responds...

I don't know for sure. You can always ask Netflix customer service in your country if they would start carrying it.

If the BluRays are available, purchase those. Or you could purchase the episodes individually on iTunes.

You can also purchase our companion Young Justice comic on iTunes or Comixology.

Christopher Chance writes...

Earlier you had said the reason Batman told Nightwing and Robin (Tim Drake) to keep their identities a secret from the Team is so that a plausible deduction of his identity would not be made.

If that's the case, would the original members of the Team (plus Kid Flash/Bart Allen and Beast Boy) outside of the "Bat-Family"-16 be able to make a guess at Batman's identity if they haven't already since they know who Nightwing and Robin (Tim Drake) are?

--Christopher Chance

Greg responds...

Certain individuals have been let in on the identities of Dick Grayson and Bruce Wayne. No deductions necessary.

Hi again. As long as rules require to group questions by different topics, I've written that as separate questions.
So.
1. If Puck is Oberon's servant, why can he be summoned by Titania's mirror? Not some Oberon's possessions, but Titania's.
2. Does the spell, that Demona used to summon Puck, have any translation? Was it in Latin? I failed to find it on Wiki.
3. Why didn't Oberon just use the mirror as Demona did in order to summon Puck? Was he just in a mood for stroll?
4. In the way I see it, there's kind of tension between Puck and the Weird Sisters, as they say they can hunt him down for Oberon. I mean -Hunt-. Not to bring him, not to call him, not to remind to him. Hunt him down. Why? If this IS a spoiler, please, just forget you've read 2d question. If I just dramatize, feel free to tell it in any form you like.
5. Would - if heard - the ringing of the iron bell be at least painful to ANY one of Oberon's children in their true form? If not to all, then to who will it be?

Greg responds...

1. If the spell is powerful enough, he can be summoned by any magic mirror.

2. It's Latin and can be found here: http://gargwiki.net/Summoning_Spell
I don't have the translation here at my Nickelodeon office. But you can probably get it from one of the fans by asking in the S8 Comment Room.

3. Yes. He pretty much says that. (Are you asking these questions from memory without looking back at the episodes? Cuz, if so, you're really waiting a LONG time to get answers you could've gotten yourself.)

4. It's a spoiler.

5. To all.

Hello, Greg! I hope you're doing well.

1. So long after I've seen "The Mirror" episode for the first time, and I'm still deeply curious: what was Xanatos look like as a gargoyle? Preeeeeeetty interested. I know, that this is not the best question to be answered in writing, but if only briefly...

2. Episode "The Edge" starts with a sparring between Xanatos and Owen. And Owen gets the upper hand.
a) Why did Xanatos stopped the following sparring?
b) Was the purpose of sparrings with Owen in training him in hand-to-hand combat?

Greg responds...

1. I'll leave this to your imagination.

2a. Didn't he have an appointment?

2b. No, it was to maintain his edge.

We are still gathering signatures. As I've noted through Kickstarter Updates, I'm VERY sorry that this is taking so long - especially since we got the bulk of the actors all in one night - but getting the last few signatures has proven very difficult. We're getting closer now. I hope to update Kickstarter again soon.
