Dear Greg,
Picked up Issue 14 of the comic today, awesome stuff, but the book raised a few questions in my mind, some of which I am unable to research for the answer;
1-Were Ronal, Blubber and Nanaue in Downtime?
2-Is Ronal based on anyone in previous DC continuity?
3-My mind randomly went to other background characters, and Uncle Dudley in his few appearances has been seen at home wearing an undershirt. Does he have a dayjob?
Please keep up the good work! I want to keep giving you money for writing stories!
1. Nope. No room for them.
2. Yes. He's based on Ronal.
3. He gets by.
They are rumors that you are getting involved in a spin-off of the young justice, in this case that you are going to write and produce the justice league internacional, are they true.
No, they are not true.
Where did you hear this rumor? I trust that you won't give ANY further credence to anything else from this source.
Is there any significance behind Kid Flash's birthday being on Armistice/Remembrance Day or was his birthday a randomly chosen day from that general part of the year?
November 11th (11/11) has always been a day that fascinated me. In college and in the years immediately following, I threw an annual party on 11/11. In addition, it's the birthday of a good friend of mine.
1. Why do Genomorphs have different skin colorations?
2. What did Abra Kadabra want from Klarion in exchange for his help in Denial?
3. Why isn't the Golden Age Hawkman a founding member of the Justice Society of America on Earth 16 like he is in the comics?
4. When did Aquaman begin crime fighting on Earth 16?
5. What year did Captain Atom arrive after his first time jump?
1. Why not?
2. To learn real magic.
3. There is no Golden Age Hawkman on Earth-16.
4. Nine years before the start of Season One.
5. Four years before the start of Season One.
What grade is Zatanna in?
In Season One, she's in 9th grade.
Dear Greg,
One quick question regarding production-ey type stuff(I think).
Is it conceivable for you to be the head show-runner for two different series at the same time? Like, say if DC decided to have another series take place in the same continuity and they wanted your input, would you be open to giving feedback and story ideas?
It's conceivable, but I have enough trouble getting hired on one job, let alone two.
Is the X on Miss Martian's and Martian Manhunter's a part of their biology?
No, it's a potent symbol of M'arzz.
Awsome show,but I have a question.
Shouldnt Miss Martian's shapeshifting ability were off if she gets knocked out or almost suffocated like in episode 12 homefront with Red tornado at the end sucking all the air away?
Why should it?
When Garfield got injured, how did they fix his injuries? There wasn't alot of blood shown, so he must probably had internal bleeding which resulted in shock. Those injuries would have needed repairing so the transfusion would do some good. Telekinesis? Quick run to a hospital for surgery and back? Just wondering.
Also I've noticed people asking about the eye color change. Could that be a coloring error or was it intentional? Sorry if that questions's a spoiler request.
1. I'll leave that to your imagination.
2. It was intentional, as I'm sure you've gathered by now.
Hey Greg,
I'm merely curious as to why the second season of 'Young Justice' consists of only 20 episodes? While it probably hasn't affected the story you want to tell, it just seems unusual that WB/CN didn't give you guys the typical 26 episode order. I just hope it doesn't reflect a lack of faith in the show from the corporate end.
I think it has more to do with economics than "faith" - but I'll admit that was a decision made above my pay-grade.
