Is there any significance behind Kid Flash's birthday being on Armistice/Remembrance Day or was his birthday a randomly chosen day from that general part of the year?

November 11th (11/11) has always been a day that fascinated me. In college and in the years immediately following, I threw an annual party on 11/11. In addition, it's the birthday of a good friend of mine.
