Could you/would you be interested in spearheading a push to create new merchandise for the Gargoyles franchise? In the interest of proving it as a still-viable money-making franchise for a possible reboot/proper season 3 but also for us fans that are lacking modern representations of those beloved characters. I myself went well out of my way to aquire an enamel pin (unlicensed I'm sure) only to have ANYTHING featuring Goliath in my possesion.
I think spearheading merchandise is premature. Our best bet right now is that Gargoyles will soon be streaming on Disney+.
If fans (old and new) binge that, we'll be in much better shape on all fronts, including merchandising.
Do you have any Gargoyles memorabilia that you've hung on to over the years? If so, anything particularly special to you?
I have a TON of Gargoyles memorabilia. For starters, I have enough t-shirts to wear one everyday for a month.
Lots of it has meaning to me. Hard to single out one item. But I guess the SLG Gargoyles comics and the DVDs are up there.
Can you please contact Buena Vista Home Entertainment and Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment to ask them to release Gargoyles on Blu Ray?
Alex Hirsch used to respond when people asked him about Gravity Falls merchandise that Disney actually kept track of every time someone went into a Disney store and asked for merch from a specific brand. Do you think it would be worth a shot to try asking for Gargoyles merch this way to show Disney that there's still interest in the brand?
What do you think about the Genesis Gargoyles game
I'm not a gamer, so I've never played it.
Hey Greg-- just making you aware of this so you can throw it out to the fandom. Hot Topic currently has a Gargoyles shirt for sale that is officially licensed by Disney. I purchased one myself as anything Disney sees fit to market the property with at this point should be taken advantage of. I came across it by chance doing some holiday shopping and am not sure if it is available in stores or not:
Joshua P. Christie
Yep. I got that too. I think I've passed this on already, but just in case, fans, here it is again!
