1) In "Inhospitable", we specifically see Beast Boy depositing his saliva into the Bio-Ship. Not long afterwards, Bio-Ship goes into the "mating cycle" (of sorts... I'm just referring to it as that, although I know that it's "more like cell division") and Baby is born. Did Beast Boy's DNA (which was present within Bio-Ship) affect the process of cell division and Baby's birth in any way? Did it have an effect on it? (By the way, I loved the Mars arc -- it was a joy to finally delve into that aspect of M'gann's background!)

2) We know that Troia joined the Team in Team Year Two and left in Team Year Five. When did she first debut as a superhero or heroic figure?

(I think it's fair game to ask this since questions about when, say, Stephanie Brown debuted as Spoiler have been asked and answered. In Troia's case, the basic question has to be re-worded because as far as we know, her original name was Troia, just as Superboy was Superboy before he was Conner Kent or Kon-El, so it's not as though I can ask when Donna Troy debuted as Troia. So I'm asking when Troia became a "hero".)

3) In "Agendas", Wonder Woman seemed quite hostile towards the idea of Batman indoctrinating a young Robin into crime-fighting, even citing his age (nine years old at the time he debuted as a hero) in a manner that suggested that she disapproved. Something must have changed since she had to deal with Troia being a member of the Team for a few years (whether she liked it or not... obviously we the viewers do not know) and then later took on Cassie/Wonder Girl as her protege. Did Troia's origin as a hero help Diana to overcome her worries/concerns about taking on a young apprentice?

Greg responds...

1. I'm thinking no. (Frankly, this is an idea masquerading as a question, and I really should kick it. But I'm feeling generous.)

2. Depends what you mean. She wasn't a public hero like Kid Flash or Robin. She was a Team operative like Superboy or Miss Martian.

3. With Troia, it has to do with her origin, and I'm not offering spoilers on that. With Cassie, she basically pulled a nicer version of "Get on board or get out of the way." But having had Troia as a protegee already, probably helped.

1. How long has been Barbara waiting for Dick to “ be ready for her ” ?
2. Did she dated any other guy while she was waiting for Dick ?
3. If she did, was she serious with those guys or would she have dumped them as soon as dick came to her ?
4. When and how did he fall in love with her ?
I mean in seasons 1 and 2, he really didn’t seem to have any sort of feelings to her, and then suddenly they were together and living in the same appartement in season 3. It seems a bit forced tbh.

Greg responds...

1. Since their early days at Gotham Academy, depicted in Season One and in our companion comics.

2. Sure. Including Jason Bard, as established in Season Four.

3. I don't want to over-simplify, but in fact, she did dump Jason for Dick, as established in Season Four.

4. I think he's had a thing for her, at least a little, since they played Seven Minutes in Heaven on his 14th birthday (also shown in the comics).

It's only forced because (a) you aren't, frankly, paying a lot of attention to details, especially but not exclusively from the comics, as indicated by your questions above and (b) time passes where you don't get to see them. That's part of the conceit of the show. Life goes on. You don't get to see all of it. But when years have passed, you have to assume that stuff happened that you missed. You know, like Barbara being paralyzed, for example.

Dickbabs seems forced and it’s so boring, you should’ve had kept him with Zee.

Greg responds...

I don't think it's forced or boring. But your mileage may vary.

(And no spoilers for the future, but I will say that literally nothing about your post makes me want to change course. If anything, it makes me want to do the opposite of what you're requesting.)

When did Robin, Livewire, Stargirl, Looker, and Windfall join the Outsiders?

Greg responds...

Robin/Tim Drake joined the Outsiders sometime between September and November of Team Year Nine. The other four joined in December of Team Year Nine.

In the Episode “Involuntary” during Prince J’emm’s birthday celebration, I saw a type of Martian Bird! I have three questions about it!
1) do you have a name for it?
2) if so would it’s name start with Ma’ar? (since many animals on Mars start with Ma’ar, like Ma’arphin Beast and Ma’arzuu Beast)
3) Would Gar shapeshift into that?

Greg responds...

1. We just called them Martian Birds. Not too original.

2. Because Ask Greg has trouble with certain special characters, it's hard to see what exactly you're asking in this question, but, yes, it would likely follow the same type of format.

3. Didn't he? Can't remember. But, yes, if he felt like it or needed to.

1. Do M'gann and Conner ever do anything special on Valentine’s Day?
2. Do they have a yearly tradition like how Wally often forgot the holiday with Artemis?
3. Also what was their last Valentine’s Day together like since they left in February at the start of season 4?
4. Was the holiday hard for them in the season 2 episode Salvage since they were broken up? I know she was still with Lagoon Boy at the time, but did she miss Conner and secretly wished she could have spent the day with him?

Greg responds...

1. I'm sure they do. Valentine's Day would mean a lot to M'gann because I'm sure there was a Valentine's Day episode of Hello, Megan.

2. I'm not committing to anything specific at this time. But see above.

3. They would have celebrated Valentine's Day in Team Year Ten before leaving for Mars. Can't or wouldn't say it's their last Valentine's Day together, but that's as far as we've taken the series, so far.

4. I'll leave that to your interpretation.

It’s a real shame that you decided to end up Chalant. Even if I believe that’s the worse decision you’ve made regarding this show I can’t blame you for that, it’s still your show and do you do whatever you want after all. But did you really needed to do it like that ? Like breaking their relationship out of nowhere, without any explanation when everything seemed to be perfect in their relationship ? Whenever people ask you why they broke up, your only answer is « no spoilers » and you keep saying that since 2011 but here we are in 2022 like literally 11 YEARS LATER and still not an official answer, all we have are fan theories. Why don’t you just say it ? At this point I’m not even asking you to bring them back just to respond to a simple answer so I can get over this ship PLEASE.

Greg responds...

I mean, the simplest answer is that not every high school relationship lasts into adulthood. Frankly, the fact that we had two couples that did, is already a bit of a stretch. I know it happens - I have an in-law who's married to her high school sweetheart. But most of my friends and relatives are not still coupled with the folks they were happily seeing in their early teens.

If you're looking for some BIG REVELATION as to why they broke up, I don't know that I have one that would satisfy you in a forum like this. It's a story to be told someday. Or a set of stories, really, involving both what brought them together and the many factors (small and large) that ultimately broke them up. I have a notion as to why Dick is a serial monogamist, and why it took someone like Barbara to finally nail him down. And I have notions as to what's going on in Z's love life, as well.

It should be obvious that Dick and Z are still friends, still on good terms, even still attracted to each other. But they've moved on. It's okay if you still mourn that ship, however. I certainly see its appeal. And, in any case, everyone's mileage varies. But we try to let our characters tell us where they're going. And this is what they told us.

Did hundreds or thousands or millions of people die due to Child's rampage on Earth before Child was stop in young justice phantoms?

Greg responds...

No. Alerted by Madame Xanadu, the heroes were on the scene (each scene) in time enough to stop rampant death. I'm sure there were casualties, but they counted in the tens, not the thousands, let alone millions.
