I've always wanted to be able to create custome action figures but I have about as much artistic ability as Michael Bay does. :/ I did, however, once create a Brooklyn from Ice Storm Brooklyn and a no neck Brooklyn toy. I'll post a pic some time.

Great Figure, Greg!

I'd rather not disclose how much I paid per commission, each commission is different. If you are interested, feel free to contact him with what you want and see what he says.

"For every two dozen Phantom Menaces, there is a Return of the King. For every two-bit Shyamalan, a Stanley Kubrick is born. For every poor soul who groans during an Adam Sandler-funded Rob Schneider vehicle, there is a child crying life-affirming tears when Bambi's mom is shot. Somewhere out there, a film student is finding out what Rosebud means for the first time. A man is pausing as Fredo prays the Hail Mary on a boat over Lake Tahoe. A woman grasps her heart as Bogie's love flies off into the foggy night. All it takes is one moment to change a person. And that one moment... no matter how fleeting... is worth a thousand Transformers."

These custom action figures are so cool. How much do they cost? I would really like to have figures of some certain characters, but I think they are incredibly expensive XD

Todd> Only thematically (possibly, since I haven't read Knight Life). It's set in Arthurian times, starting with the narrator (Viviana) as a slave in the court of Uther Pendragon. I think the intention is to connect Arthurian characters with individuals in modern American politics: Arthur based on George W Bush, Guenevere based on Hilary Clinton, etc. I haven't read enough yet to know how that's going to work, but Viviana's story is already intriguing.

Green Lantern's Nightlight> <<I like to know if any of his fellow writers are helping out.>>

That's an "interesting" sentiment to express.

I sympathise, but I think it's a little, how do I say this, a bit of burden. If you have the money great, you can go buy one of his books, but some people don't and so have to feel the guilt of not being able to help. I like to know if any of his fellow writers are helping out.

SUPERMORFF - Is there any connection between the Camelot Papers and Peter David's "Knight Life" trilogy which placed King Arthur in the modern world (and, in the first book, running for Mayor of New York)?

(I doubt that we'd have ever seen that in "Gargoyles", but King Arthur running for Mayor of New York in an election with the gargoyles as a major campaign issue does have some appeal. Actually, one of the things that most disappointed me about "Ransom" - apart from the much-discussed treatment of Fox, of course - was that it took a great idea for what could have been a series-long thread and dropped it after one episode.)

Comet> Yeah, seems likely that gargoyle feathers are a case of convergent evolution, but gargoyles have a lot of that. If you believe they're from Therapsids, then their wings (even the non-feathered ones) are from convergent evolution; if you think they're from Pterosaurs, then their lactation is from convergent evolution. Depending on when you think they diverged, hair might be from convergent evolution too.
Supermorff

I know the week is over soon, but I'll try to ask another interesting question. How do you think have the "feathers" of some Gargoyles evolved? Since I, and many others here, believe that Gargoyles are descendants of Therapsids, this is a valid question. We know that feathers evolved from scales, but Therapsids have no scales.
Even if you believe that Gargates evolved from Pterosaurs, which I don't believe anymore and never really did, feathers are not normal since Pterosaurs never evolved feathers.
I think that the Gargate feathers are totally different from what is known as bird feathers, a completely different structure that just resembles bird feathers but has nothing to do with them.

Just bought Peter David's Camelot Papers after reading http://www.peterdavid.net/2013/01/04/here-is-how-you-can-help-peter/ (directed there by http://www.s8.org/gargoyles/askgreg/search.php?rid=996)

Only just started but liking it so far.

I was extremely surprised about how fitting most outcomes were. Only a few were stupid (Demona, Coldsteel).
