Great, i actually belived that it will be garg comic, until i read the rest. Well... theres still three projects left...
g

Another interesting tweet:

@Greg_Weisman: "@CPThrio: @JoeyWanKenobi do u already have another project?" I have one other project in the works now. Two more waiting for a green light.

I hope my last post didn't seem judgmental. We're so used to Greg doing one awesome TV animation project after another. The Star Wars comic looks great and I'm sure his other projects will be as well.

This is wonderful news, but writing a comic series hasn't been a full-time job for Greg in the past. Not to get personal but it seems unlikely that Greg would leave Rebels solely for a 5-issue comic run even though it's for the same intellectual property. A basic question remains unanswered: to the what company/job is Greg going to work to every day?

Huh. Neat!

You should've warned us, Raven. Reading isn't just fundamental. It's dangerous.

Greg's first project has been revealed...
It's a Gargoyles 2198 comic!!! WOHOOOO!!!

Just kiddin'... It's a comic called Star Wars Kanan, bridges the gap between Clone Wars and Rebels, coming in april 2015.

@Housman Ha. Yeah, while watching the premier of Rebels, I too was thinking Firefly. Mind you, there are some significant differences, but thematically there were a couple similarities with Firefly

Bit of a shame that New York City won't be Stop #7 of the Gargoyles Anniversary Tour, but I'm still excited to hear whatever announcement is made :)

As for Star Wars: Rebels, caught the premiere (and generally thought it was a nice start), but have been confused about the third episode's air date. My guide says this Monday, but has it already aired? Will catch a repeat of it eventually I guess.

He's not attending and someone else is going to reveal the project he's working on. That's what he said on twitter.

@G, Is Greg even attending NY Comic Con? I would think he would have rambled his schedule by now if he was planning on attending.

Any idea when Greg is going to reveal first project in NY Comic con?

@Matthew, I never watched Firefly, but I know what you mean. I definitely dug the "movie" and need to watch it again. I remember really liking a lot of the camera angles they chose to go with, especially when the camera was behind the main characters as them jumped from the platform of the ship. I enjoyed the pacing; it didn't feel like it had any lulls. I actually LOL'd when Kallus kicked the storm trooper.

Tonight is the Hunter's Moon for this year.

Hufflepuffs are really good finders

Speaking of Rebels, just saw the latest episode and is anyone else getting some Firefly vibes? That's not a bad thing but I do think it's kind of amusing and I keep picturing Kanan and Mal as being related.

A Rebels spin-off, perhaps.

Well, thanks for trying, folks.

What say we go back to speculating what announcements are coming this weekend at NYCC? Or perhaps, in honor of what GXB posted, we should speculate on Masque of Bones.

Okay, so this just happened on Skype.

FOURTH for each of Greg Weisman's newest projects ;)

But I'll also toss in a "A Sky Full of Ghosts" for Brainiac d:

Well, my first attempt with A Personal Voyage didn't work out so well...but I still feel I should try again with A Spacetime Odyssey.
