Mostly I chose to put a Garg Beast in the tree because I thought it would be amusing. For us that is not necessarily for the Garg Beast.

Todd> Nah, the beast should be snarling at a partridge in the tree. Looks enough like a pigeon to set one off, I imagine.

"It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known."

On the "twelve days of Christmas" parody - I'd find it more believable if the gargoyle beast, instead of perched atop the tree, was at its foot, growling, eyes blazing white - while a couple of nervous-looking robbers are clinging to the branches, feeling ready to turn themselves in to the police if someone will just please take that creature away....

Hufflepuffs are really good finders

The Mystery Record sounds like an indie effort from how much time it's taken so my first guess was a podcast but having such talent evolved the guess to be some kind of online radio play; we know he's good at those. Or perhaps neither. Mystery indeed.

Yeah, sorry to hear about what happened at that convention. But people suck sometimes. At least things didn't go to bad.

And oh yeah, back to the song!

On the seventh day of Festivus (and the rest!) the Wise Man gave to me,
Seven rogue Oberati (hopefully none of them Queen Mab!)
And all that other stuff,
And a Japanese Garg Beast from Ishimura! (Not the breed that's discontinued!)

Yes, partly inspired by this:

I'm not really in the mood to participate in festivities, sorry, but I have something serious to ask about. Over the weekend, there was a furry convention in Illinois that some of my online acquaintances attended and what can fairly be called a terrorist attack took place. Some person unknown released chlorine gas on the top floor of the hotel in the middle of the night. Fortunately, no one died, but nineteen people were sent to the hospital. Various parts of the internet and even some of the news media are treating it as a joke because furries, of course. Anyway, I know there's some overlap between the Gargoyles and Furry fandoms, so I wanted to check if anyone here was affected or knows anything else about this. Be safe, everyone.
