I read Rain of the Ghosts and its sequel too. The first book mostly lays out the groundwork and its characters.
The sequel Spirits of Ash and Foam is where the story really takes off. With the introductions taken care of Greg was free to really delve into the plot and mythology he laid out.
Hope you enjoy it!

Algernon> I most likely will, other fans have said if you loved Gargoyles you will enjoy this book. It's so hard to find any Gargoyle merchandise, there is going to be a comic adaptation of the pilot episode Awakening. However on Amazon it says it won't be out until later this year in October.

Hope everyone is doing great, I've just been reading The Chronicles of Narnia: The Last Battle. My birthday is just a week from now on April 27th. I'm planning to get Greg Weisman's novel Rain of the Ghosts, any of you read it?

BRAINIAC - Sorry, no mention of that so far as I could tell.
(If Greg Weisman ever gets to do the "Pendragon" spin-off - I remember he was thinking of doing that following the projected "Dark Ages" mini-series if Disney had renewed its contract with Slave Labor Graphics - we'll get to find out a little about the role gargoyles played in the Arthurian Age. I have a few theories about that, though they'll have to remain fan speculations for now.)

Todd Jensen> But did it mention the significance gargoyles played in both of their rules?
Also, perfect sixth.

There is balance in all things. Live in symmetry with the world around you. If you must blow things up and steal from those around you, THAT'S WHAT RPGS ARE FOR!

Fifth.
Saw a magazine at the grocery store about famous kings of history and legend and looked briefly inside it. Two of the kings it covers are King Arthur and Macbeth. I glanced at the section on Macbeth, which included much about the differences between the Macbeth of Shakespeare and the Macbeth of history (which would certainly be familiar to everyone here).
