MATTHEW - Thanks.

Todd> The story of Magic the Gathering or more specifically the story of the megalomaniac dragon and the characters who oppose him has been going on for a little over ten years. The problem is that while they've been telling this story through the card game and through novellas you can find online, they haven't done a print novel since around 2011.

Again, if anyone has any questions about the lore, I'd be happy to answer.

I've started reading Greg Weisman's new Ravnica book. The element that most stood out to me is that the main conflict (the characters trying to thwart the designs of a megalomaniac dragon) has a "joined in progress" tone, as if this is a sequel or continuation to other books set in the "Magic: the Gathering" universe. (About all I know about "Magic: the Gathering" is that it's a fantasy-themed collectible card game that's been around for over twenty years.) Which does make it a bit more difficult to follow than Greg's two Warcraft books.

By the way, check the list of magical treasures in Chapter Nine, near the top of page 57.

There is balance in all things. Live in symmetry with the world around you. If you must blow things up and steal from those around you, THAT'S WHAT RPGS ARE FOR!

Hey, Adora

I participated in May the FOURTH Be With Free Comic Book Day as much as I could; I was in Columbus for most of the day for other reasons. Managed to grab a few books both up there and after returning home, but didn't get everything I was looking for (in particular, I didn't get the Star Wars Adventures comic for added irony).

Deplorable and loving it!

I did not participate in Free Comic Book Day (I was at my cousin's wedding), which is kinda ironic because the comic book store that started it is my local comic book store.

Which actually brings up my next point. I didn't really do much for my blog last month but I'm planning on covering the DC Online series like Titans and Doom Patrol on an episode by episode basis. Mostly because I have no idea how to do reaction videos on Youtube.

First.

Anyone else participate in a Star Wars "May the Fourth"-themed Free Comic Book Day on Saturday? :)
