So here's my thoughts on Season 3 Episode 15 "Leverage"
Last episode Beast Boy boasted that Granny can't control his free time, I guess it never occurred to him that she could control how much free time he had. And Granny doesn't strike me as the kind of lady that abides by the "minors can only work so many hours in film/tv" rules.

Nice of them to acknowledge the (ahem) tense relationship between Markovia and Russia just like it was in the comics. Heck the tensions between Russia and former Soviet Blocs isn't something that's touched upon by most media outside of that period of time in the 90's. Plus Brion bristling at Russia wanting their own super team is rather ironic considering he wanted to unlock his meta-gene to be a hero for Markovia.

Glad to have Freddy Rodriquez back, but it's pretty obvious that his voice has aged beyond what you would believe to belong to a teenager. Well I've heard worse. Anyway, glad to see counseling for meta-teens has improved since season 2, and that father and son both work together to actually help these kids in their own special way.

So we both get Windfall and the Rocket Red Brigade in a single episode? Nice. I knew they would go for more obscure characters but this is just too good. I'm starting to wonder if we might get the Global Guardians in the future. Possibly if the Justice League disperses or cuts all ties from the UN, they could serve as a new UN-chartered super team.

Loved the fight between the Team, Suicide Squad and the Rockets. Really shows off why Mallah and Black Manta were so high up in the Light's echelons. But to be honest, I REALLY prefer Manta's pre-cancellation look. The gray lines around his eyes make him look less intimidating and I liked the fuller silver underside to his helmet. The New-52 animated movies look just feel...I don't know...sloppier?

And it looks like we didn't need to wait until going to Qurac for Halo to start experiencing more flashbacks from her host's life.

I'll be honest, I was sorta hoping Waller would've figured out that the League had a covert team rather than being told by Manta. I pretty much guessed that she would use her knowledge of that to blackmail Kaldur and the Team, but now I'm starting to wonder. Did she want the Rocket Red technology to evaluate Russia's progress and determine strengths and weaknesses? Was she maybe hoping to use it to upgrade Manta's armor so she could send him against bigger threats? Or was she interested in how the armor integrates with the wearer's anatomy and how it could be exploited?

Final thoughts: I've got a sneaking suspicion Livewire might go the route of villain and Mist might go along out of loyalty. Beast Boy's resentment over having to stay quiet on the Suicide Squad is probably going to influence his choices in the future. And that scene where Doctor Jace picked up the hairbrush from "True Heroes" is leading up to something undoubtedly strange. And Zehra Fazal is definitely winning the voice awards this season with how many different roles she's got.
Is it wrong that I want Shade to show up and fight Granny at some point? C'mon, Bernie, show some spine and don't let Maude just run roughshod over everyone!

(because that is NOT Aunt May, I tell you)

So my thoughts on Season 3, episode 14 "Influence."
Gotta give credit to Deborah Strang, this is a huge departure from her role as Aunt May in Spider-Man. Kinda interesting that her first public showing of her more sinister side wasn't when the heroes attacked the Orphanage but while she was trading barbs with Godfrey. I imagine there's quite a lot of hostility amongst Darkseid's lieutenants. Nice cover-up with Jaqqar Marlo. Turns out he wasn't just a loose end but also a convenient fall-guy in case the truth about the Goode Goggles came out.
And an appearance from Big Barda, that's cool. Looks like Superman's act of heroism might be the nudge to put her on the right direction. Here's hoping we get to see Scott Free to complete that.
Speaking of the Furies, Big Barda and Lashina are pretty common picks in outside media but Gilotina isn't as much. Hope we get to see other uncommon characters from the New Gods.

I'm really glad that the heroes laid out all the options for the Outsiders, including the chance to leave heroics without any guilt-shaming or to take a more backseat role. That's not the sort of pep talk you'd expect to hear. This is also the first time Artemis has brought up Wally this season, probably because his birthday is around this period of time. I'm wondering if bringing that up has anything to do with some of her choices in the next couple of episodes.
A lot of little things I missed the first time, like Leonard Snart and the Condiment King popping up in Godfrey's show (through twitter) and Angel O'Day.

All in all a good episode where the team focuses on the upcoming PR battles while the Justice League is in the center of the action for a change.
So, who's caught up Young Justice: Outsiders? Lottsa interesting revelations going on.

Moments that stood out for me:
Granny letting the "mask" down

Halo coming out as gender-questioning, if not non-binary.

Virgil being the "Seventh Wheel" to Jamie, Traci, Gar, Perdita, Eduardo and Bart.
And lots more good stuffz.

Business as usual

Just a reminder, after this week they'll be releasing episodes on a one a week basis. Apparently they need to stretch this out for the summer until the next season of Titans comes out.

I'll be giving my thoughts episode by episode like last time.

Perfect sixth, once again.

I look forward to the return of Young Justice once again from its standard state...hiatus (just like Futurama). I'll probably wait until the fourth to watch, though. Nothing like a day off work with which to indulge.
