MATTHEW - Looking forward to it.

SPEN - Probably - but I also suspect that all those "doomsday plague" stories helped implant that fear in them.

Watched "Intervention" today, but since it's late in the week I'll save my thoughts on it Monday.

Todd: I suspect most of the hoarders are people who think everything will close forever, and therefore having massive amounts of stuff will give them power over their neighbors.

In my town the local grocery store's started putting restrictions on how many non-perishables (like, boxes of spaghetti, that kind of thing) a single person can buy.

I love cartoon movies. I think this is for all age people.

One of the biggest concerns I've had is the way a lot of the grocery store shelves keep going empty. (I *hope* that the people buying up everything on them are doing so as a "just in case we get quarantined" measure rather than because they're expecting it to turn into one of those apocalpytic "plague that wiped out almost all of the human race" events.)

I was in the middle of job interviews when everything shut down here in California, so that was really bad timing.

I'm in Ireland where the situation is tense but stable for now. Pubs and schools closed for the next couple weeks at least. Hopefully, it stays that way.

I work at a freestanding psychiatric hospital, so my experience during this ongoing public health emergency probably doesn't align with most people's.

At present I am still going to work, though my day-to-day tasks have largely been set aside. We opened our Incident Command Center on 3/6 and most of my day is spent there, collaborating on preparation, mitigation, and response activities for COVID-19.

As Planning Section Chief, my current role is to help prepare our goals/objectives for each operational period and ensure their completion, including things like implementing restrictions on visitors and vendors (and screening of those who absolutely must be allowed in for necessary business operations), tracking of key supplies and personnel, and evaluation of our patient population to determine how best to approach admissions/discharges in a way that keeps everyone safe and minimizes the risk of exposure to patients/staff.

(Also, ensuring that the rest of the hospital command staff turn in their paperwork detailing their response activities and time spent. Easily the least sexy job in such an operation, but a necessary one, in case we want to have any hope of FEMA reimbursement down the line.)

Upside is I'm making a good deal of extra money, due to all the overtime I'm logging. Certainly a darn sight better than all the folks out of a paycheck right now.

Downside is I'm not exactly getting a ton of time with my pillow these days...

Has anyone heard anything out of the studio about whether they're staying open or sending people to work from home? Hopefully everyone's staying safe.

On that note, how's everyone holding up under quarantine? My team at work is one of the only ones to actually be prepared to work from home, and everyone else has been scrambling to get things set up.

Hi Mr. Weisman. I have a question for you:

I don't know if you are aware, but in the "Early Warning" episode of Whelmed: The Young Justice Files (back in Oct. 2019) the host quoted you on something you told him in conversation. This is something that used to happen now and then, but lately it happens in almost every episode: "Greg texted me this", "Brandon emailed me that", "Greg/Brandon told me whatever", etc.

So, looking at your 2-year-5-month-and-20-day backlog of 1173 questions, I'm wondering: why are you giving BTS information to this one person while the rest of your fanbase has to submit questions and wait months (at least) or YEARS (worst case and more likely scenario) for an answer???? It must be really cool to be so intimate and chummy with one's idol, and I bet the host feels super important and validated, but this is some double standard bullshit!

Are you aware of this? And if you are, how can you be okay with it? Don't you think this is unfair? You have thousands of fans who support your work whichever way they can, but 99.9% of them have never even met you in person, let alone exchanged emails or text messages with you.

If I make an entire podcast dedicated to kissing your asses, will I earn the same privileges? Will I be able to ask all my questions without a waiting queue? Will I get to hang out with you, have lunch together or exchange personal contacts?

(Originally I posted this on AskGreg, but then I decided I shouldn't have to wait 2 years for an answer, for all the reasons above.)

Seven is my lucky number today I guess cause I got some harder to obtain Monsters in the phone port of Dragon Quest V.

Still haven't gotten the streaming service necessary to watch YJ Season 3, but I got said season on DVD (not too long after getting the Hey Arnold Ultimate Collection).

So since the show's revival, has Weisman mentioned an interest still in that Scooby Doo crossover if WB and DC ever approve or no. I mean on the one hand sure YJ is pretty much for the older crowd, but then we had Scoobynatural.

And Mystery Incorporated despite being Y7 arguably showed that you could make them work in a more serious setting.

Perfect sixth, once again.

There is balance in all things. Live in symmetry with the world around you. If you must blow things up and steal from those around you, THAT'S WHAT RPGS ARE FOR!
