Well I lost track of time, so instead I'll cover the first few chapters during the count.

I took a look at the map at the start of "Rain of the Ghosts", which reminded me of the references to "The Tempest" in the two books. "The Tempest" was one Shakespeare play which never got into "Gargoyles", though with "Macbeth" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" already featuring in the series, I think it would have fitted right in. As if to make up for that, "Rain of the Ghosts" made it one of its influences.

Before getting into the first few chapters, I'd like to go over two little things.
First of all, this is just my opinion but I actually prefer when books have proper chapter indexes. I don't know, just feels like that's a better format.
Secondly, I do so enjoy when maps are printed inside the book. I think knowing the geography of the setting can help with the immersion. Or maybe I just like old maps in general. I think it started when I first read the Hobbit.
Anyway, I guess I'll cover the first two chapters later.

I think the best bet is to do Rain of Ghosts now, then do Young Justice afterwards as a sort of lead up to season four. Obviously that'll depend on how long it takes to get through the book, and when the premiere date is, but it could be fun. And if there's some hang time in the middle, we could watch WITCH - I read the books when I was younger but I never saw the show, I'm curious to see how it holds up.

All right, I'll try and start off the conversation.
So I personally think that it might be nice to shift away from superheroes for the time being and do Rain of the Ghosts. I've never been part of a book club but I understand that it's usually done around one or two chapters at a time. Considering how short the chapters are, I'd lean towards two at a time.
This is just my two cents, I'd like to hear other's opinions.

Theia, Rhea, Themis, Mnemosyne, Phoebe, and Tethys!
FUN FACT: Ol' Billy Shakes borrowed the name Titania from Ovid, who used it as an appellation for the daughters of the Titans. Make of that what you will.

We'll probably need to establish a subject matter for the chat. I know that we began last week with the question of whether the next set of reviews be "Young Justice" or "Rain of the Ghosts", but after that we all fell silent, rather than discussing it. (Maybe we *did* have a subject matter after all, but fell into the trap of waiting for someone else to speak up first.)
