1. Following Superboy's heroic sacrifice, are the martian species planning to honor him somehow like building a statue of him?
2. What was the aftermath of Superboy's death like on Mars in the following weeks before M'gann left the planet?
3. Since Superboy died on Mars did they hold a martian funeral for him?
5. Is Prince J'emm and the royal family planning to honour Superboy somehow?
5. Whatever happened to R'ess E'dda after Superboy's death? Was he dismissed, demoted or suspended from his duties?
1. Honor him, yes. I'm not going to commit to any specifics.
2. You're basically asking me to tell another story here at Ask Greg. That's not really what this site is for. Feel free to use your imagination until Brandon and I have the opportunity to explore these things.
3. I'm not going to commit to any specifics.
5. Yes.
5. No comment.
Hey there Greg I have some questions about the light this time.
We do know being a member gives you a lot of status in the villain/under world side of things, but what happened to members that get replaced?
Say OceanMaster and Blackmanta were once respected but now they killed the former, and the light is indifferent With Blackmanta being under Amanda Wallerâs control.
1.-Does that mean that once members get expelled they lose all worth the light? And I donât mean âworthâ as in how they also use the heroes as tool , but how say a retired Justice or president still gates benefits and respect.
2.- Why was Rhas Al gul not âdisgracedâ after abandoning the light
3.- We know Rhas Al gul retired from the light, and as head of the âleague of shadowsâ. But are the shadows still loyal to him as the even if iâs unofficially?
Thank you, Greg.
1. It's all situational. Certain failures land one out of favor. Manta not realizing his own son was a mole was considered a BIG failure. Ocean-Master was granted all respect but refused to stand down from the Nuclear Option. Lex Luthor on the other hand is still viewed as a worthwhile member of the Light, despite his public shaming, legal problems and need to retrench.
2. "Abandoning" is a strong word. He resigned and handed over one of his major assets (the League of Shadows) to the Light. Plus he and Vandal are old friends.
3. You'd have to poll each Shadow individually, I suppose, and hope for honesty and self-awareness if you wanted to trust their answers. And even then, it's bound to be situational.
In the comics, Troia is a name that Donna Troy takes after she learns of her connection to the Titans of Myth. Since Brandon Vietti and yourself have gone with the "Troia" version of the character for Earth-16, this implies that Earth-16 Troia has an origin that involves the Titans of Myth. Troia's look in Young Justice certainly evokes the "Titans of Myth" origin for her character (with some differences in YJ, of course), and in that version of her origin, the Titans of Myth provided her with an array of mystical gifts. Does she possess these gifts in Young Justice (or did she have them during the five-year gap between seasons 1 and 2, at least)?
I'm not sure how guarded you are about Troia's origin and details surrounding it... I'll take the risk that this question might be deleted by the mods. Perhaps you can give at least a hint in answer, please, if you feel that that's appropriate.
No hints, I'm afraid, beyond the hints from the series itself. And I wouldn't take it for granted what origin we have in mind. (I will say it's a mix.)
1. How much does the public know about Superboy's death? Do they know he was on Mars and about his engagement?
2. How did the public learn about Superboy's death? Did someone hold a press conference, social media or announce it at the United Nations?
3. If it was a press conference who revealed the news. Was it Wonder Girl because she is the Outsiders acting leader or Catherine Cobert since she is the public liason?
4. How are the rest of the Outsiders coping with Conner's death? Members like Wonder Girl, Kid Flash, Blue Beetle and Robin since they knew him longer?
5. How did the Outsiders find out about Conner's death. Did Garfield contact them or did they find out some other way?
1. They know he was on Mars. I don't think they know about his engagement.
2. Catherine Cobert would have held a press conference. Probably with a representative from the League and the Outsiders.
3. Both, I'd guess. NOTE: I'm not committing to anything that's not on screen, especially since these are decisions I would make with Brandon Vietti. But this represents my best guess at the moment.
4. I think I can leave that to your imagination, rather than listing responses for each character. But suffice to say, all are grieving.
5. Probably from J'onn.
Would Garfield still have breakup with Perdita if Garfield had not gone to mars with M'gann and Conner and if so, why?
I think Garfield was already suffering from PTSD when he departed for Mars, and his unwillingness to address that was already interfering with his relationship to Perdita. Mars - and Superboy's "death" - exacerbated the problem. A lot.
Still, he says - even before they departed for Mars - that he and Perdita could use a little break. So, I think there's a chance they still would've broken up. But who knows? What happened happened.
How does Zatanna fell towards dick and Barbaraâs relationship ?
She's cool with it.
Why was M'comm so surprised that M'gann went after him for Conner's death? He had to expect what would happen. He killed his own sister's fiancée! Also what was his reaction when he learned that Conner died instead? Does he even feel the sightliest bit of guilt and remorse for what he did to Conner or M'gann for that matter?
I'm mostly inclined to let what was on the screen speak for itself. I don't think he was all that surprised she went after him, although I haven't watched it in a couple years probably. But I think it's very clear he has little remorse. He was prepared to die himself for his cause, so any other sacrifices seem merely necessary to him.
How did the Gardita fans react to Garfield logan after the Gardita fans learn Garfield's breakup with Queen Perdita?
I imagine some were sympathetic and others were hostile and some were hurt and others were confused and some just wanted them back together and others moved on to a different ship. If you were expecting a monolithic response, then, well... that's just not how the human race works.
Why was it part of the plan of young justice season 4 that beast boy would breakup with Perdita over Garfield's deep depression over conner's death but only to reunite m'gann and conner later in season 4 and not also reunite beast boy with Perdita in a dating relationship later in season 4?
From our point of view, the why was being honest storytellers. The truth is that some relationships don't survive trauma. Others do. Also Megan and Conner are relatively-speaking much older than Garfield and Perdita. It's not always your first love that goes the long haul. Sometimes, but not always.
The Phantom Stranger's voice reminds me of Rod Serling's. Were you going for this?
Not consciously. And not particularly likely. Certainly, Brandon Vietti and I never discussed going for that with either voice director Jamie Thomason or actor D.B. Woodside.
