After seeing that Superboy was a fan of G Gordan Godfrey's talk show it makes me wonder what are the original members favourite TV shows? Also favourite genres too? Also aside from the talk show what else did Superboy like tv wise?

Greg responds...

I wouldn't say Superboy was a fan of G. Gordon. I think he was fascinated by how appalling it was.

I'm not going to list favorite shows for each lead. Feel free to make those lists up for yourself.

Would Garfield still have breakup with Perdita if Garfield had not gone to mars with M'gann and Conner and if so, why?

Greg responds...

I think Garfield was already suffering from PTSD when he departed for Mars, and his unwillingness to address that was already interfering with his relationship to Perdita. Mars - and Superboy's "death" - exacerbated the problem. A lot.

Still, he says - even before they departed for Mars - that he and Perdita could use a little break. So, I think there's a chance they still would've broken up. But who knows? What happened happened.

Why is Roy Harper referred to as a “fellow genomorph” in the young justice audio play?

Greg responds...

Roy? Hm. That seems like a mistake, unless in context it was more of an honorary thing, i.e. his brothers Will and Jim are, so he is, too. Maybe?

Why was M'comm so surprised that M'gann went after him for Conner's death? He had to expect what would happen. He killed his own sister's fiancée! Also what was his reaction when he learned that Conner died instead? Does he even feel the sightliest bit of guilt and remorse for what he did to Conner or M'gann for that matter?

Greg responds...

I'm mostly inclined to let what was on the screen speak for itself. I don't think he was all that surprised she went after him, although I haven't watched it in a couple years probably. But I think it's very clear he has little remorse. He was prepared to die himself for his cause, so any other sacrifices seem merely necessary to him.

Who thought of Psimon and Devastation? (as an item)

Greg responds...

It just seemed to evolve out of character. But I think I pushed for it a bit more than the rest of the crew. Maybe.

I do understand that you wanted to show that everyone doesn’t marry their first love with the example of Chalant. But why did you choose Barbara Gordon as Dick’s endgame ?
One of the reasons Chalant gets so much love is that we finally got to see Dick sincerely loving and being serious with someone else that Barbara or Kory.
Dickbabs already is endgame in nearly every single continuity they are in ( the comics + every animated Batman series or movie, and they are canon in the main continuity ) DC even black listed Dickkory to promote this couple, there is clearly enough ( too much ) Dickbabs.
I even used to ship them but by seeing them together everywhere, everytime it just disgusts me of them tbh.
It would have been perfect If you stuck to idea of allowing Grayson to be with someone else, Dickbabs is overused and doesn’t bring anything new or fresh to the show and is such a shame.
Young Justice is one of my favorite shows and you can’t imagine how enormously disappointed i was when i first watched episodes 6 of season 3, I really had hope that i would finally see Dick being endgame to another girl.

Greg responds...

I don't really understand your logic - except as the logic of a contrarian. By that argument, we shouldn't have done Clark/Lois, Barry/Iris, Oliver/Dinah, etc., etc., etc.

Extend your argument to its logical conclusion, and we shouldn't have done any known superheroes at all, because you've seen them before.

But we're adapting existing characters and existing stories and the existing versions of the DC Universe. That was the gig. And, of course, the love lives of these characters are part of what we're adapting. Obviously, we're not afraid to shake things up when it feels right and/or necessary. But changing stuff for the sake of changing stuff isn't ever what YJ was about. And I think it's bad adaptation.

We did OUR TAKE on Dick/Barbara. Just as we did our take on Dick/Zatanna. Just as we did our take on Dick/Robin/Nightwing and Barbara/Batgirl/Oracle and Zatanna/Zatanna, as individuals, even though you've seen those characters many, many times before.

And, FYI, you don't know what our endgame is or was. Because, among other things, I don't deal in endgames, as my motto is "Never the End..."
