Hi Greg, I apologize in advance, I use a translator and it is difficult for me to navigate the site and communicate. I have only recently discovered the wonderful universe of gargoyles. My question is about Demona. This character evokes the most sympathy in me, because she has an extremely difficult fate. I'm trying to figure out what's going on in her head, I hope you can help me with this. So, let's go in order:
1. Did I understand correctly that Demona is contradictory in her head? She seems to understand that not only people are to blame for everything, but she herself as well, but she does not admit it. Her psyche defends itself in this way, shifting the blame onto others, because if she admits guilt, it will mean that for these 1000 years she was a monster, not people. She can go crazy from this.
2. Can a person somehow show her that people are different, that there are not only bad ones, but also good ones (although she most likely knows this and does not admit it)? Can a person stop her crusade with his actions and beliefs? For example, find her somewhere with severe wounds, without strength, and heal these wounds, or save her (even immortal), as Macbeth once did. Even if it takes years.
3. Is Demona capable of truly loving? Love enough to just stop and be happy?
Ps
If an angel can fall, why can't a demon ascend?
