Does this mean that if "Gargoyles" were to get revived, there probably wouldn't be any new stories in that category (i.e., focusing on Elisa in her regular detective work against the mundane criminals in New York such as Dracon)?

No, that doesn't mean that at all. It just means that I didn't leave out any that were pressing to fit into the continuity of the original 66.
