How did the existence of the Justice Society not just end WWII entirely?
Hi Greg,
Hope you had a good b-day!
Iâm just writing to let you know how much Iâve been enjoying the Demona mini-series. As someone who was already a fan of Clark Ashton Smith, I particularly enjoyed #3âs story âFor not Everything with Wingsâ¦â I think itâs one of the best reimaginings of Smithâs work Iâve ever seen.
1) Were you previously familiar with Smithâs work or was this something Frank and/or Nate brought to your attention while working on the mini?
2) If the former, was naming Nokkarâs species the Nâkai intended as a nod to the dwelling place of Smithâs Hyperborean toad-god Tsathoggua?
1. Was Klarion ever a member of other versions/iterations of the Light?
2. Was there a version of the Light that was in operation during the 30's or 40's?
3. How long has Atlantis been known to the wider public and were they involved in World War 2?
4.Was Hal Jordan or John Stewart fans of Alan Scott?
5. Would the anti-life equation affect Homi Magi because they are related to metahumans and if so in what way?
Happy Birthday, Mr. Weisman!
Dear Greg Wiseman I don't have a question I just want to say happy birthday. If it wasn't for your creation and Brooklyn I would have not met my closest friend on Bluesky. So thank you and I hope you have a great birthday.
Question about Hal Jordan in Young Justice. When the show came back for season 3, we saw that Hal visibly aged and received the white temples. Was that simply done to show the heroes were aging or was there a deeper meaning behind it such as him being infected by Parallax? Also, he was the only lantern we saw to never receive any lines. Was there a reason for that as well?
In young justice season 4, Was Razor capable of using the blue rings full power or did he have to have a green ring nearby
Hi Greg, big fan! I was wondering about the background of writing Ed's and his dad's use of Spanish in Young Justice. I know they're Argentinian, so did you get any insight of Spanish speakers from Argentina, since the Spanish there has differences from other Spanish-speaking countries? I'm analysing them for personal work, so this would be super helpful to know if I can take them as they are in the show, or if I need to do further research!
1. Has Ra's Al Ghul been apart of other versions of the Light?
2. What keeps Klarion from not killing other members of the Light just for asumenent?
3. When Vandal created the modern version of the Light were some or potential members resist to his invitations?
4. How long has Belle Reeve been a prison for was it a supervillain jail during the JSA days?
5. How many members of the Team, Outsiders, or Justice League knows that Batman is Bruce Wayne?
Hello Greg, have you been in contact with DC or WB lately? Just thought to ask because I love what you did with Young Justice. Have a good day
I've just come off reading Young Justice Targets, as i was missing the characters and the vibe of the show and wanted to see if there's any comics that came out after (thankfully there was targets). Do you know if there's gonna be another comic coming out or any word on a new season being developed? I'm keen to see more confrontations with Black Mary, the new furies, Darkseid and Red Hood.
Thanks!
If Thailog was able to get his hands on DNA from Angela and Bronx for cloning what would their names be? and what color would be? and what would the look like?
Hi
1) Is it nice going back to the 90s when writing Gargoyles?
2) Are the Twin Towers still standing in the Gargoyle universe?
3) Are there any particular aspects of late 90s New York you are excited to try and expose to people who might have missed it?
I'm not sure if you'll consider this a spoiler request or something that's so obvious that it's harmless to answer, but is Shari being referred to as the "Dark Lady" in Dark Ages meant to imply she's the same Dark Lady that Shakespeare will dedicate several sonnets to centuries later?
Hello Mr. Weisman, I hope I'm not bothering you. I came to ask you something, and according to Chris Wyatt, there's a cameo by The Spectacular Spider-Man in episode 19 of season 4 of Ultimate Spider-Man. What do you think? Do you think what Wyatt says is true?
I have been a huge fan of your work forever! If it's not too tedious, I have just a few questions I have always wondered about.
1) Just out of curiosity, would you say that after you became involved with W.I.T.C.H., the series' "magic system" more or less followed similar rules to Gargoyles and/or Young Justice?
3) In W.I.T.C.H., I have wondered how Elyon and Lilian became or were born the "Hearts" of their world. With Elyon, I have always assumed her parents perhaps blessed her with this power after her birth, passing/imbuing the Heart of Meridian's power to her, but I have always wondered about how Lilian was the Heart of Earth and, given the she didn't always exist, did Earth have a prior source of mystical energy? Likewise, if they perished, what would happen to the power they possess - for example, would they maintain their status as their world's source of mystical energy even as ghosts?
2) Also, is there a particular framework of magic you created for any given work that you personally prefer or are especially proud of?
Hi Greg, I'm a fan of your Spider-Man series and I wanted to ask you this, is the trashy Spider-Man that appears in one episode of the Ultimate Spider-Man series Spectacular?
Question about Delilah
1) Since she was aged into her prime already will this mean she will only have the opportunity to have two eggs (one in 2008 and the other in 2028) instead of the normal three?
Hello, I hope you are having a good day.
In Young Justice, the time where Jason Todd was Robin was skipped over, why is that?
Question about Coldfire/Desdemona. I really like her character but I have always been confused by her relationship with Coldstone. He seems like such an asshole, what is she seeing in him that maybe I am missing? She reminds me of one of those fantastic friends you have who is dating this absolute prick and you are trying to very tactically tell her she can do better. I mean an eternity dealing with those mood swings. My god!
Greetings Mr. Wiseman,
I see that you include many literary references in your works, such as Gargoyles being based on the Bible and Shakespeare, in Spectacular Spider-Man Peter references The Divine Comedy, and the doctor who talks to Elektro (Season 1, Episode 11) is named Kafka. How much do you read, and what is your reading routine?
Greetings, Mr. Wiseman,
Your portrayal of Spider-Man has been part of my childhood â" itâs still my favorite, as far as I can remember. My English is not the best, but my curiosity overcame my fear of asking, and I hope this doesnât trigger any kind of spoiler alert.
Iâd like to ask you about character development. Iâm not trying to bring up any hidden idea disguised as a question; itâs just that the dialogue between Spider-Man and the Green Goblin about âmasksâ truly struck me on this point. So, Iâd like to know:
1. Did you study psychology to develop the characters of the show and the villains? If so, to what extent did you go into it? If not, do you create an impression of the character in your head based on reading so much of the original material?
2. How did you plan the dialogues in a way that both built the characters and moved the story forward?
Thank you for your attention and for all the hard work youâve put into your shows.
Question about Gargoyle beasts. So far all the beasts we have seen have been around the same size? Can they vary in height and/or build similar to dog breeds?
Some questions about the Avalon Clan.
1) You have said that all the Gargoyles were named in some way after angels. Do you think you might have boxed yourself in a little? I know Angels can be genderless but they are typically depicated as male. I could only find six with bonafide female associations (Muriel, Ananiel/Haniel, Jophiel/Dina, Lailah, Ariel, Seraphiel â" Seraphine/a).
2) Any info on the 12th and 14th Gargoyles depicted on the Avalon clan image on Garg wiki? They both debuted in âIll met by Moonlightâ and had no dialogue. Both had really cool designs, particularly the blue one, who looked almost fish like.
3) So on Avalon, we currently have four beasts, one female (including Boudicca), mated pair and pup of unknown gender? Are the ones we haven't met yet named after warriors or warrior kings/queens? What about pup?
4) Are the Avalon Clan the only âChristianâ clan?
5) If they are Christian how do they reconcile living on the magical land of Avalon surrounded by the fae?
6) Is my math right that the Avalon females will have 10 fertility windows by 2198?
