Hi Greg. I guess it may seem weird about me that you just answered a question about Chalant and now I'm writing this, but I actually wanted to say something related since some time ago, and did it now because it's October 10th, which is the setting date of the episode Humanity, where Zatanna and Dick met and the ship was born, so I guess the Chalant question being answered yesterday was a great coincidence lol. Well, I love the ship and thought it was really cute and funny, and I'm actually sad that they broke up and that Dick is with Barbara after that. I thought that Chalant was also something fresh compared to some ships in the comics related to both Zee and Dick, so knowing how the series has taken liberties with comics, made me also feel more sad about them broking up during the timeskip and DickBabs happening in the series, and also the fact that, well, because of some things, I guess it's not like we'll see Chalant happening in the comics, and even if it were to happen somehow, it wouldn't be the same as in YJ. I know that many teen couples don't last, but I don't think that 2 is many, and I'd say that having 3 couples doing it would still be fine, because we've also seen many other couples like Gar and Perdita, Brion and Halo, or Tim and Cassie, not lasting, but there's also the say that "first love is true love" and as we've seen, yes, Zee and Dick are very good friends.
Idk but I guess there was also some kind of connection that the ship made with me, maybe a projection lol. But that connection basically made me do multiple analysis of many moments of Zatanna and Dick in the show, including the few ones that happened after S1, and I guess in some of them I'm actually seeing so much, hehe, and indeed the recent answer made me change/add some parts in this text. You mentioned that they're still kind of attracted, and that indeed makes me a bit happy, because in Phantoms there were some scenes that actually made me think that, like the circus one, and they gave me hope of Chalant possibly getting back together in the future. But you said that also "they've moved on", and that makes me feel mixed emotions, both losing some hopes but also keeping them, because well, they're 23-24, still young, so there's still many decisions for Zee and Dick to make, so Dick may not be fully nailed down. Also that of Zee's love life scares me, because it makes me think in certain famous name I don't want to say but that obviously wouldn't like to see with her. And well, I honestly thought you would answer the 26572 question saying that now it's been 13 years, without the other things, but I'm surprised xd. And I don't know why but the fact of Mary being Black Mary now, or that Dick basically always supported Zee about her father and told her that they would find him and everyone because "It's what we do" and that she supported him about Roy being a clone, and then in Invasion M'gann somehow knowing that phrase and telling it to encourage Dick, or she for some reason having a picture of Zee kissing Dick's cheek in her album in Outsiders, or Zee going for Dick in Phantoms to telling him Conner is alive and they working together (Not only the towel scene lol), or the smiles they have while looking at each other in the circus scene, probably also gave me some hopes for S5 regarding Chalant, but guess it's mostly because as I said, I'm probably seeing too much in some aspects. I honestly would have liked them to be the ones to get back together or proposing, but well, as I said, I'm with mixed emotions, hoping for them to fall in love again and being endgame, but also not being sure about it happening now. There's the possibility of flashbacks, and I'd love to see it, but I'd also like them to return as a couple in present.
Something I've realized is that I'm a person who is very attached to what he loves and I also think, and miss, so much in things from the past, and usually I have many nostalgia and thoughts in moments and people from my past, so I guess that aspect of my personality also influences in my opinions xd. And I'm obviously not writing this waiting for an answer saying if they would or wouldn't actually be a couple again, because obviously, that would be an spoiler, but I just wanted to vent, respectfully, about this, because, well, it's better to speak with someone about this rather than it being a secret xd. So I guess if I wanted an answer to something else I should have ask something like if something similar to Chalant kiss in Nightwing's 19th bday happened again between them after 2015, but that would be an spoiler request, or if a Trogowog randomly escaped from the Sentinels and that's why he's in SuperMartian wedding lol, but well.
Anyways, I love Young Justice, I think it's a wonderful series. I just wanted to speak about my opinion in this Chalant topic, and as I said, I'm not even angry, just sad because of this, but even so trying to take it with a bit of humour xd. I hope for Warner or HBO Max or James Gunn to greenlight season 5 soon because it's been 3 years already, and well, I'm exciting to see what happens in next season.

Hi Greg. I'm curious, why do Halo and Cyborg's powers overlap at all, like the ability to make boom tubes, if Halo only has a Motherbox's soul (or software, presumably) and Cyborg only has a Fatherbox's hardware? They both can shoot laser too, but I don't know if that's technically the same kind of laser or not

This is something that I've been wondering about since the end of season 4, when Megan restored Conner's memories did she restore all of them or just the positive ones?
What I mean by just the positive ones is, did she not include the time she tried to erase his memories of her abusing her powers.

Hello Greg, I have loved your show for a really long time now, and I especially love the Super/Martian Family. I was just wondering:
1) Do M'ree's co-workers at STAR Labs know that she's a Martian, or does she have to assume a human alias and/or shift her skin color to look like a human?
2) Do Gar and M'ree see each other in a familial capacity, I know that they probably didn't have a lot of time to interact, Gar obviously sees M'gann as his sister and you mentioned that J'onn''s relationship with Gar is avuncular, so I was just wondering if that familial relationship translates to M'ree now that she's living on Earth now.

Hello Greg,
Pleasure meeting you at Convergence on July 4th, 2024. Questions

1. Any details regarding the Greek Pantheon in Young Justice like Zeus, Hades, Hera, Artemis, Poseidon, Hercules, Persephone Athena, Apollo, Hermes, and Ares?

2. Do Zeus and Helena Sandsmark have a history?

3. Any other genetic relatives Wonder Woman possesses besides Antiope, Troia, & Hippolyta?

4. If you like Greek myths, who's your top 4 in the Pantheon? Mine are Zeus, Athena, Hera and Hades (I know he's not one of the Olympians, but I personally believe he should be).

Cheers!

so, my question is: when it comes to Kaldur's history of sorcerous study, was there ever a question as to how much to have him rely on that background? i know for me, i love hearing bits and pieces about how magic or sorcery works within the DC universe and hearing that Atlantean society had a Conservatory of Sorcery really just made me fall in love with your show even more!

Hi Greg,

Hope you had a good b-day!

I’m just writing to let you know how much I’ve been enjoying the Demona mini-series. As someone who was already a fan of Clark Ashton Smith, I particularly enjoyed #3’s story “For not Everything with Wings…” I think it’s one of the best reimaginings of Smith’s work I’ve ever seen.

1) Were you previously familiar with Smith’s work or was this something Frank and/or Nate brought to your attention while working on the mini?

2) If the former, was naming Nokkar’s species the N’kai intended as a nod to the dwelling place of Smith’s Hyperborean toad-god Tsathoggua?

Question about Hal Jordan in Young Justice. When the show came back for season 3, we saw that Hal visibly aged and received the white temples. Was that simply done to show the heroes were aging or was there a deeper meaning behind it such as him being infected by Parallax? Also, he was the only lantern we saw to never receive any lines. Was there a reason for that as well?

Hi Greg, big fan! I was wondering about the background of writing Ed's and his dad's use of Spanish in Young Justice. I know they're Argentinian, so did you get any insight of Spanish speakers from Argentina, since the Spanish there has differences from other Spanish-speaking countries? I'm analysing them for personal work, so this would be super helpful to know if I can take them as they are in the show, or if I need to do further research!

I have been a huge fan of your work forever! If it's not too tedious, I have just a few questions I have always wondered about.
1) Just out of curiosity, would you say that after you became involved with W.I.T.C.H., the series' "magic system" more or less followed similar rules to Gargoyles and/or Young Justice?
3) In W.I.T.C.H., I have wondered how Elyon and Lilian became or were born the "Hearts" of their world. With Elyon, I have always assumed her parents perhaps blessed her with this power after her birth, passing/imbuing the Heart of Meridian's power to her, but I have always wondered about how Lilian was the Heart of Earth and, given the she didn't always exist, did Earth have a prior source of mystical energy? Likewise, if they perished, what would happen to the power they possess - for example, would they maintain their status as their world's source of mystical energy even as ghosts?
2) Also, is there a particular framework of magic you created for any given work that you personally prefer or are especially proud of?

Greetings Mr. Wiseman,
I see that you include many literary references in your works, such as Gargoyles being based on the Bible and Shakespeare, in Spectacular Spider-Man Peter references The Divine Comedy, and the doctor who talks to Elektro (Season 1, Episode 11) is named Kafka. How much do you read, and what is your reading routine?

Greetings, Mr. Wiseman,
Your portrayal of Spider-Man has been part of my childhood â€" it’s still my favorite, as far as I can remember. My English is not the best, but my curiosity overcame my fear of asking, and I hope this doesn’t trigger any kind of spoiler alert.

I’d like to ask you about character development. I’m not trying to bring up any hidden idea disguised as a question; it’s just that the dialogue between Spider-Man and the Green Goblin about “masks” truly struck me on this point. So, I’d like to know:

1. Did you study psychology to develop the characters of the show and the villains? If so, to what extent did you go into it? If not, do you create an impression of the character in your head based on reading so much of the original material?

2. How did you plan the dialogues in a way that both built the characters and moved the story forward?

Thank you for your attention and for all the hard work you’ve put into your shows.

Some questions about the Avalon Clan.

1) You have said that all the Gargoyles were named in some way after angels. Do you think you might have boxed yourself in a little? I know Angels can be genderless but they are typically depicated as male. I could only find six with bonafide female associations (Muriel, Ananiel/Haniel, Jophiel/Dina, Lailah, Ariel, Seraphiel â€" Seraphine/a).
2) Any info on the 12th and 14th Gargoyles depicted on the Avalon clan image on Garg wiki? They both debuted in “Ill met by Moonlight” and had no dialogue. Both had really cool designs, particularly the blue one, who looked almost fish like.
3) So on Avalon, we currently have four beasts, one female (including Boudicca), mated pair and pup of unknown gender? Are the ones we haven't met yet named after warriors or warrior kings/queens? What about pup?
4) Are the Avalon Clan the only “Christian” clan?
5) If they are Christian how do they reconcile living on the magical land of Avalon surrounded by the fae?
6) Is my math right that the Avalon females will have 10 fertility windows by 2198?

Weird question, does it seem plausible to you that the London Clan might be a little too into Coronation Street? It's a British soap that started in 1960. I would think most media would just seem to "brief" for Gargoyles as they live twice as long.

Regarding the clones and Delilah: if Delilah’s DNA is about 10% derived from Eliza, that would make her roughly equivalent to a non-identical twin sister of Demona, or a maternal aunt to Angela by blood, correct? Even if a situation like Delilah arose againâ€"say involving other creations like Xanatos/Broadway or Hudson/Hyena or whatever combo, these type of clones don't actually offer any meaningful solution to the genetic diversity issue that the modern clans face?

Hello, Greg, I hope you're having a great day. I am a huge of your show The Spectacular Spider-Man. I watched it when I was a kid and enjoyed it very well. I rewatched the series as a grown up and it still spectacular. I give you and Victor Cook an A+++ The most popular marvel animated cartoon. A while ago, I was very disappointed that the show got cancelled. I hope someday in the future will be revived. I completely understand that Season 3 isn't possible, but remember nothing is impossible. I'm pretty sure so many Spectacular Spider-Man fans like myself really want the show back, not to mention so many people sign the petition. I got very excited that Spectacular Spider-Man appeared in Across the Spider-Verse and hopefully he'll come back in Beyond the Spider-Verse to side with Miles.

How was Norman Osborn alive at the end of season 2?

Was there be going to be new villains like Scorpion, Hydro Man, Carnage, Morbius, Kingpin, Prowler, and Hobgoblin?

When Spider-Man was telling tombstone he said, "I can't ever look the other way again." What does he mean by that?

In the Season 4 finale of "Young Justice," Brainiac-5 stated that there was a 99.84% probability that the timeline was restored. However, Chameleon Boy was concerned about the 0.16% probability that this was NOT the case. Hello Greg, long time fan! I hope you don't mind a couple of questions for YJ-

1) How do the terms for the leader of the League work? I know that in s1 we saw a vote, but I assume Black Lightning was leader for constitutive terms given that he was voted in at the end of s3 and still led in s4. Are there term limits?

2) Markovian parliament has power, but so does the king. This really isn't a set up in IRL former Soviet satellite states, so I'm curious- was there a particular country you modeled it on?

3) How widely known was Dan Garret as a hero? Curious since the scarab was assumed to be a Kord invention, but there are several explanations I can think of for that.

Thank you in advance!
